Chapter 20

I don't talk for the rest of the night till I put Rose to bed.

"I love you sweetie I'm sorry everything didn't go the way we planed." I say kissing her forehead. Jay stands behind me and I walk out of the room. I lay on the bed and curl into a ball.

"Jordan." Jay says shutting and locking the door.

"I don't want to talk about it right now." I whisper. He picks me up.

"Well you need a shower." He says. "You smell." I see his smile peck out. I dig my head into his chest.

"Let me wash you like a baby." He says sitting me on the counter. Jay unbuttons my jeans and slides them off with my underwear. He takes off my shirt and bra then puts me in the tub. I pull my knees to my chest as he pours cups of water on me.

"I'm not helpless." I say looking up at him.

"Your my wife now. I should do this when you don't feel good." He says rubbing my back. He washes my arms, back, and legs. He get between my legs and makes me stand up. I look at Jay and he washes me. I turn around and he cleans my butt and he slaps his hand on it. I blush and sit back in the tub. He moves the cloth down my chest. I shiver and he pours more water on me. He turns off the water and wraps a towel around my body. I look up at him. I never got a present from him did I? I dry off and walk into the bedroom. There's a present sitting on the floor. I look around and Jay isn't in here. I look at the tag

I slip on underwear and running shorts. I put on a tank top and sit next to the present. I open it and there's a card.

I knew something from the store wouldn't show you how much I love you. Follow the path and you will find other card, then another. They can we anywhere in the U.S. I have Rose with me and you will find us at the last place. Happy hunting my love! - jay

Great. I stand up and look at the back of the card. The place I told you I was in love with you. There's a plane ticket next to my phone. I grab it and head out the door. I get in the car and go to the airport. I hate this. Im not good with puzzles. But I know where this place is. The Manchester football stadium.

"I hope you hear me Jay because I hate this!" I yell as I look up and down the bleacher trying to find the damn card. I see something flapping in the wind. I run over to the taped card.

Good job sweetheart! Where our first kiss was.

Damnit! It has to be around here. I sit on the bleachers and tap my foot. The park! I run down the bleachers and see who I haven't seen forever.

"Jackson!" I scream and run to him.

"Jordan?! What are you doing here?" He asks me hugging me.

"Jay has sent me on a wild goose chase. What about you?"

"I want to be an Art teacher remember?" He says. Oh right. "The high school art teacher is letting me have my own room for a class." He says smiling.

"That's great!" I say and hug him again.

At the park I see the Card in the ground. I dust it off.

Your good at this babe! Next, where we got married at. It says. Ughhhhh. I get back in my car.

It's been a day since I last saw them. I go the the church and find the note.

Love you! Where we has a first NFL game I have to get back on that damn plane again. After another 3 hours I get off the plane and find my car. I drive to the stadium and see a note on the door. I grab it.

Next one is gong to be about where I killed you at! I scream in my head. I drive to the house and plan his death. I get out of the car and open the front door.

"Happy birthday!" Everyone jumps up and screams.

"Late Birthday." Jay says. "Since I wasn't here for your really birthday."

"Awww!" I say and hug him. "Wait! You sent me on a hunt for cards so you could get the team here and have everything ready?" I say.

"Yeah." He says and sees the anger in my voice. I grab his cheeks and kiss him.
