Chapter 25

9 months later

"How was you last day?" I ask Rose as she get of the bus.

"Great!" She says. "I'm finally a 6th grader now!" She says with a bright smile. Jay hugs her. My stomach is huge. I found out its a boy again. Jay all week has been pacing around waiting for my water to break. Since its getting close for the baby Jay toke the month off of football.

"Have you guys thought of the name yet?" Rose asks.

"I was thinking Dylan." Jay says.

"I was thinking Max." I say.

"So we picked Max." He says and smiles.

"I like it." She says. Tomorrow is my due date and I'm scared. I can barely keep my eyes open so I go to bed around 7:00. I lay down and take a deep breath. I fall asleep and wake up screaming. Contractions. I feel Jay's arms around me. He jumps up. He helps me up and I scream again. He's just in sweatpants. Water moves down my leg. Rose and Jay help me to the car and I get in. I squeeze Jay's hand.

"Breath baby." He says. Finally I see the hospital. Another contraction and I scream. I'm on a wheelchair before I blackout.

I wake up in a bed. I still have my baby bump and I'm hooked to everything they could find. Im alone. I look out into the hallway and see Jay pacing. I see a doctor walk in.

"Your awake!" She says smiling. Another contraction comes and I whine. "I bet in a few hours you'll have that baby in your arms." She says. or sooner. I scream. she runs out of the room and calls for other doctors. Jay runs into the room and grab my hand.

"Baby, Your going into labor it's okay." He says. Im shocked I don't break his hand by squeezing so hard. I have to push three times. I hear a tiny scream and whine. Im breathing heave. I see my little baby. Jay starts crying. He cuts the cored and they clean our baby. In a few minutes. I'm handed and blue blanket. I hold him in my arms.

"Hi max." Jay says and waves at him. "I'm your daddy." Tears fall down my cheeks.

"Hi baby." I say. "I've waited for you for awhile." I say and kiss his forehead. I hand Max to Jay and he walks around with him. Rose walks inside.

"Where is he?" She asks. I look at Jay. He turns to Rose and she Awwww's. She sits in a chair and holds him.

"I'm your big sister." She says. Max laughs. "what's so funny?" Then we smell it. "Ewww!" She says. I laugh.

"Like father like son." I say. Jay looks at me.

"Your lucky I love you." He says and leans over pressing his lips on mine.

A week in the hospital and letting people see Max. Kanden comes in. Jay toke Rose to get us something to eat. I hold max and I look up.

"Hey." He says and rubs his neck. He walks over to me.

"Hi." I say.

"Your son is handsome." He says and looks down at Max then me. "Looks like you." He says. Kanden leans down and kisses me. I don't kiss back but I don't push away. He breaks and looks me in my eyes.

"You should have choose me Jordan." He says.

"I made the right choose Kanden." I say.

"I love you." He says.

"You love the sex and you wish this baby was yours." I say.

"Yes, but I also love you." He says and grabs my hand. I push his hand away. "Just remember. Your the one who had a crush on me." I shiver. I hold max close. I see Nolan walk inside. He smiles at me then sees Kanden.

"Her best friend is here now bye bye!" Nolan says and pushes him out the door. He walks over to me and hugs me.

"Can I hold him?" Nolan says holding out his arms. I put Max into his arms.

"Now Max, your going to be just like me alright?" Nolan says. I laugh.

"That's scary." I say with a smile. He slaps my arm. "Ouch!" Nolan walks around.

"Can I bring him out of the room?" He asks.

"Could you get me out of here too? I want to get out of here." I say. He hands me Max then walks out of the room. A few minutes later he walks in. He helps me up.

"They said you can put on some clothes." Nolan says putting Max in his crib thing. Nolan closes the curtains and shuts the door. I unbutton the grown and have to fall to the ground.

"Damn!" Nolan says as his eyes go down my body. I blush. My boobs got a little bigger and my ass a lot more. I slip on underwear, bra, jeans, and a tank top Jay brought me. I look at my stomach in the mirror. I could get the baby weight off. I slip it on and I pick Max up and fix his blanket and little hat.

We all walk out if the room and a bunch of people run over to see the baby. Most asking if Nolan is the father.

"No, My husband is somewhere." I say smiling. Nolan frowns. We walk down the hall to who knows where.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"You seem happy."

"Wow Nolan, I love you too." I say and roll my eyes.

"You toke it wrong. Your happy and in love with Jay. I have no one since Lauren." He says and puts his hands in his pockets. "I wanted you."

"Nolan, I just got done talking to stupid Kanden about this." I say sighing. He stops me.

"I have known you since birth." He says looking into my eyes. "You haven't hear the story about me falling for you." He takes me out on a deck and we sit down. The wind blows my hair around and Max looks around at the birds and flowers.

Nolan's P.O.V.

"It started in 6th grade."

Flashback

"Got you!" Jordan yells and jumps on my back. I have always been the taller one.

"Want to skateboard to the ice cream shop?" I ask grabbing my skateboard.

"You know I can't skateboard." She says and laughs.

"Then ride with me." I say. I put one foot on it and she stands on it. We go down the sidewalk with my hands on her hips keeping her on. She spreads her arms out. Her laugh. Her hair. Wait what?! Why am I thinking this way? She's my best friend. We get to the shop and I stop. Jordan almost falls but I catch her. Her face lands in my chest. We smile at each other. She goes to sit down. I buy the ice cream and we sit outside since its summer.

"So." I say licking my double Strawberry ice cream.

"So what?" Jordan asks.

"Do you like anyone?"

"Ew no." She says and laughs. There's Mint ice cream all over her lips. I can't help myself. I lean over and kiss her.

End if flashback

"Oh my god." Jordan says and looks away from me.

"You were my first kiss. Also First real crush. I have liked you ever since." I say. Jordan's eye could kill me.

"That means you were mine too." I watch as her hand touches her lips.

"Jordan." I say grabbing her hand seeing the wedding ring. I kiss her. Her lips are soft and light. To my surprise her lips kiss back.
