Chapter 24

Date: January 23, 1997

Shayne's POV

After spending the last 4 months on tour, Michael has finally finished the first leg of the HIStory tour The second leg is not scheduled to start until the end of May, which gives him time to bond with our son I am now 33 weeks pregnant and everything's been going great so far

Me and Michael are now back at Neverland and it feels so good to be home Its like our own little piece of heaven We were upstairs, standing in one of the guest rooms

Michael: I think we should start decorating the nursery, don't you?

Shayne:(Shrugs) I mean, yeah but does it have to be this room?

Michael: This room is closest to our bedroom It'll make it easier to care for him during the night

(I poked my lips out and looked around. I had an idea but I knew that it would be a lot of work to do in just a few short weeks.)

Michael: Ok, I know that look What are you thinking about?

Shayne: Well, why don't we knock this wall out and make a pathway from this room to ours?

(He looked at the wall I was talking about and smiled.)

Michael: Thats a great idea Just one problem

Shayne: What?

Michael: We're probably gonna have to hire someone to do it so it'll be just right

Shayne: While we're at it, we might as well hire an interior decorator

Michael:(Smiles) I like the way you think, Mrs Jackson

Shayne:(Laughs) Why, thank you Mrs Jackson

(He walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around my neck.)

Michael: He's gonna be here soon

Shayne: I know, I know You ready?

Michael: Beyond ready You?

(I made a face. With him being behind me, he see it)

Michael: Shayne?

(He turned me around and held my hands in his)

Michael: Hey, whats wrong?

Shayne: Im just....worried, I guess you could say

Michael: About what? If its about you being a mom, you're gonna be amazing

Shayne:(Shakes head) No Its...this feeling that I have It feels like something is gonna go wrong

Michael: Something with the baby?

Shayne: No something with...

(I trailed off and looked down. He must have figured out what I was talking about because he lifted my chin up.)

Michael: With me and you?

(I nodded slowly. He shook his head and hugged me, holding me.)

Michael: Baby, nothing's gonna happen You're my wife and I love you

Shayne: I love you too baby

(He kissed my forehead and hugged me again. I hear what he's saying and I wanna believe him but I know better than to doubt my feelings by now, especially when it comes to him.)

Michael's POV

After talking to Shay, she went to lay down while I went to my office to look up interior designers I found one and called the number that was listed
