Chapter 12

Date: December 13, 1993

Shayne's POV

I smiled and walked up the stairs I went to my room and walked into the bathroom I turned on the shower, stripped off my clothes, and got in An hour and a half later, I got out and dried myself off

I wrapped the towel around me and walked out of the bathroom I was about to go to my closet and look for something to wear when I noticed a box on my bed I walked over to it and picked up the card that was on top of the box

(I shook my head and opened the box. There was a beautiful blue dress on it. I pulled it out of the box and examined it. The back was cut out and it looked like it would stop at my knees. I smiled and put the dress back on the bed.

I dried my hair and curled it. I pinned half of it up and fluffed it a bit. I took off the towel I had on and slipped into the dress. It fit like a glove. I slipped on my sliver heels and grabbed my clutch. I walked down the stairs and looked around for Michael.)

Shayne: Michael.?

Jerry: Shayne.?

(I turned around and saw Jerry standing by the door.)

Shayne: Yeah.?

Jerry: Michael's waiting for you Im to take you to him

Shayne:(Smiles) Ok

(Jerry opened the door and we walked out of the house. We got to the car and he helped me in. He got in, started the car, and pulled out of the driveway. I saw that he was heading towards the highway.)

Shayne: Jer, where are we going.?

Jerry: I'm under strict instructions not to tell you anything

Shayne: Not even a little hint.?

Jerry:(Shakes head) Nope

(I giggled and sat back in my seat. After a 40 minute ride, Jerry pulled up to this huge skyscraper. I got out and he led me into the building.

We got on the elevator and he pressed the button to go to the very top floor. The elevator stopped and we got off. I looked down and saw a trail of rose petals.)

Jerry: Just follow the trail, OK.?

Shayne:(Nods) Alright Thanks

Jerry: No problem

(He got back on the elevator and the doors closed. I started to follow the trail and it led me through a couple of rooms until I got to this door. I opened the door and there was a flight of stairs.

I slowly walked up the stairs, mainly because I had on heels. The stairs led me to the top of the building. I opened another door and saw Michael, who was standing by a table. I walked over to him and he grabbed my hands in his.)

Michael: You look.......gorgeous

Shayne:(Blushes) Thank you Oh, and thank you for the dress Its beautiful

Michael: Your welcome (Sighs) Come sit down

(He pulled me to one side of the table and pulled my chair out for me. I sat down and he walked to the other side of the table and sat down.)

Shayne: How did you do all of this.?

Michael: I know a couple of people

Shayne: People who will let you eat dinner on top of their building.?
