Forever and Always: Chapter 3

My car journey to my home took only five minutes, I was hoping for the journey to take longer but I knew I would have to face my mother and enter my house. I looked through my backpack and took my keys out, I started twisting and turning the key into the keyhole to waste time. I wasn't in a hurry, finally I opened the door to my house and entered. My mum would freak out if she saw my forehead and hopefully she wouldn't see my forehead but my bandage was a dead giveaway that something had happened to my head. I slowly tiptoed into the living room and quietly tiptoed upstairs hoping not to make a single sound. I went up to my room and jumped into my bed, my mum hasn't realised I've come home yet and smiled to myself; I would make an awesome ninja someday! My mum started to knock on the door; oh crap. I quickly hid behind my curtains and held my  breath so my mum wouldn't hear me. She entered my room...

''Eliza honey, are you there?'' she asked looking around the room. Oh no she was looking for me, it was like playing hide and seek, but more serious. 

''I heared you come up  the stairs, you better not be hiding'',

Guess I wouldn't make a good ninja after all.. suddenly, my mum yanked the curtains away from my face. She let out a scream which could be heared from 5 miles away, she was acting as if someone had just died in front of her. I simply just stared her blankly. What was I supposed to do?

'' Oh god, what happened, Eliza?'' my mother asked touching my bandage and pressing her fingers against my forehead, I let out a quiet wince. My forehead hurt every time my mum touched my forehead....

''I fell down the stairs...'' I lied

''Do you need to go to the hospital, oh gosh, your forehead looks terrible'' my said panicking

''I don't need to go to the hospital, the nurse did what she needed to'' 

''Wow Eliza, your really clumsy, you scared the living day light out of me!'' 

''Mum, there's nothing to worry about, it was just an accident, everyone makes them except from you''    I told her,

She let out a quiet laugh and stroked my face, gently....

''Eliza, don't you scare me like that'' my mum warned me.

I looked at the floor and replied,

''I'll try'' I wouldn't lie to her, I wasn't a liar,

''That's my girl'' my mum said ruffling my hair '' oh and I forgot to tell you, a boy called, Matt...''

My heart skipped a beat, why did Matt pop around my house and  how did he know where I lived, was he a stalker...

''He gave me your biology homework, apparently you raced outside the classroom and forgot to take your homework, what a nice boy'' my mum told me giving me my homework book and a 4 sheets of question about ' the digestive system'. I groaned, I really didn't want to do my homework, but I had to if I wanted to pass the stupid class...

''I'll leave you and your homework alone'' my mum got out of my room and closed the door behind her. 

My phone started ringing, I looked through my backpack and got my phone out. The contact name said unknown...who the hell was trying to call me? I wasn't going to answer my phone to stranger so I declined the call. Few seconds later, my phone started ringing again, as I did before, I declined. No way was I going to answer. My mobile phone started ringing again for the third time, I let out a silent scream, why doesn't this stranger just leave me alone. I looked at my phone to see I had received a text from unknown, so I opened my text to see what was sent to me, it read:

''Eliza, why don't you answer your phone? I've been trying to call you but you won't answer, is there something wrong with me, if so, I understand. Matt x''
