sent at 12:23pmafter sending the text, hyungwon started looking around for the blond. at this moment in time he felt very blessed to be so tall as he had an easy time seeing the tops of everyone's heads.
he was about to go to the exit and just tell hoseok to meet him there before he heard the shout of a beautiful, angelic even, voice and looked up from his phone to see the man he was so excited to see for so long.
"oi mate i'm right here," to hyungwon, it seemed that hoseok looked much better in person. he suddenly froze for a second, however soon snapped out of it and shook his head.
"hi," he said shyly and put his phone in his pocket before softly hugging the man in front of him. hyungwon then felt his arms wrap around his waist and relaxed into the hug.
"you absolutely won't believe what this lady called sharon did on the train," wonho began a conversation to get rid of the silent atmosphere since he didn't really like silence, in fact he was more towards the there must be either a conversation going on or music playing or at least something to get rid of silence. in this aspect he was hyungwon's polar opposite; he liked to be alone accompanied by only the sound of silence.
"so i'm on my laptop working on my story, right? well then this lady, presumably sharon, walks up to me and goes like 'can my son play on your laptop' in the absolute most 40 year old white american mum voice you can imagine," hoseok continued rambling about his journey with this so called sharon and hyungwon listened. he was enjoying listening to his voice; he felt calm when he heard it.
"so what you're saying is sharon thinks she can just take your laptop and when you say no because she's a single mom and calls this rachel lady to complain and puts her on speaker," hyungwon spoke properly for the first time since first seeing wonho and he noticed how american he sounded, but he didn't say anything about it. instead he just took note of how he liked his accent.
"i feel like rachel was worse than sharon honestly," wonho paused for a second before continuing, "you could hear like at least 5 different children shouting in the background."
"how much do you wanna bet she's probably single because she seems like an ass?"
"to be honest she probably is," hoseok stopped for a second making hyungwon do the same. he stood there for a second and spoke up, "where are we even going right now?"
"first, shopping and then to mine, is that ok with you?" hyungwon asked.
"yeah that's fine," he replied and grabbed hyungwon's hand once he started walking. hyungwon blushed as he turned left and they saw a market where there were many tents with vendors selling various things ranging from fabrics to flowers.
he lead hoseok past the market to a specific tent. he stopped before hoseok could see what was being sold and asked, "what's your favorite flower?"
"umm i guess peonies?" hoseok replied with a questioning expression, however his questions were answered when he and hyungwon approached the front of the tent and hyungwon asked for 5 peonies. he thanked the woman and gave the flowers to hoseok.
"i would've bought flowers on the way to the station, but i didn't want to buy roses because they're overrated and i didn't know your favorite flower," hyungwon said and this made hoseok smile.
"thank you and happy valentines day to you too," he said and tightly hugged hyungwon who immediately wrapped his arms around him as well.
