me and the boys decided to go out and hang at the skating rink and have some fun. me and mattia decided to just leave the topic alone about what happened last time. but i still couldn't shake the feelings i had for him.
we got our skates and everything then headed to put them on. i was the first to get mine on and i went out on the floor and did a few tricks. mattia looked at me in amazement but didn't say anything. the other boys came out as well.
"shit ion know if i can do this- woahh-" roshaun said almost falling.
"boy you gon be fine-" kairi said and then fell on his butt.
"guys it's not even that hard" mattia laughed and skated over by me, standing by my side. he made me feel so small even though i was 5'7.

alejandro got out his phone and started recording the whole thing. i looked around. "wait where's alvaro-"
"AGGHHHHH" he was screaming and was headed straight for me. mattia quickly pulled me out the way, then i lost my balance and went tumbling down on him.
i stared into his eyes as he stared back at mine. he laughed and then said, "umm y/n-" but was cut off.
"OMG MATTIA IS THAT YOU????" a high-pitched voice said. he pushed me off and got up. i looked up and saw them hugging.
"it's been so long alessia. how have you been?" he asked. their conversation faded as they both skated away and went to a booth.
kairi helped me up and me and the boys skated around together. but i couldn't stop glancing back at the two, wondering what they were doing and if they had been a couple or what.
"bitch i'm tired and hungry asf." roshaun said and went to a booth.
i followed behind him and so did the boys. "ur fatass always hungry.." alejandro mumbled and rolled his eyes. "lemme guess.. you ain't got no money either?"
roshaun stayed quiet.
"oh my gosh." ale got up and left, roshaun followed behind him and begged him to buy him some food.
i glanced mattia and alessia's way and i saw them taking pictures and laughing. i couldn't help but feel replaced. did he like her?
"ayo lets go over there and see what they up to." kairi said and got up going to their table. i followed rolling my eyes. when we got there they stopped laughing and the girl looked me up and down.
"who is this?" she said and scolded me.
"i'm y/n" i said and held out my hand. she just looked at it. i awkwardly took it back and sat down.
"it has been such a long time since i saw you and mattia, kairi. how've you been?" she said.
"i've been fine. and yeah i agree. i remember the youtube videos we used to make."
"right! those were so cringe" mattia laughed. the others did the same thing.
they talked some more and laughed more. i was feeling so left out.
"can i speak to you y/n?" alessia said. my head shot up and i nodded surprised.
"uh sure." i followed her over to a different area and then her whole mood changed.
"i hope you know mattia is mine and he always has been. i don't know what you two having going on but it's over. and if you thought you could replace me, think again. he probably doesn't even like you at all! look at you. you think you're all that. well news flash: you're not. like ew. what even is that outfit? well yeah bye. " she smiled and walked away.
"oh mattia i was just letting y/n know that we'll be the best of friends-"
"really? that's not what it sounded like." he said and crossed his arms.
"what do you mean?" she asked pretending to be confused.
"why'd you say those things to her? she did nothing to you.." mattia said.
"what are you talking about baby-"
"baby????? alessia, me and you are just friends. don't call me that" he said. "you know what, i don't think i want to be friends with someone who can't be nice to one of my closest friends"
"mattia-" she tried to stop him.
"don't touch me." he said. he grabbed my hand and we left to go sit in the car.
"look y/n i'm really sorry she said those things to you.."
"it's alright mattia. words don't get to me." i said and smiled softly. he nodded.
"i actually really like you. a lot.. and all those things that happened in the past about cynthia AND alessia .. i hope you can forgive me." he sounded sincere.
"i forgive you mattia."
"i hope we can start fresh."
"we can. best friends?" i held out my pinkie.
"best friends..." he said and connected his with mine.
