"He keeps ignoring me Zach! He just grabbed his bag and went out the door as if I didn't exist" Daniel whined as they walked through the school corridor.
"Why does it matter?" Zach looked at him strangely, "He's just your lab partner"
"Well I found it rude-"
"Since when did you over analyze another person's actions?"
"What-"
"Do you... oh I don't know... have a crush Dani?" Zach smirked and raised an eyebrow.
"No! What the hell Zach. I just find him... intriguing" Daniel huffed in frustration. "Whatever. Do you wanna go to the movies on Saturday?"
"Saturday? Why not Friday?" Zach put his books in his locker and shut it with a loud bang.
"Well we have a family dinner on Friday so we can only do it on Saturday"
"That sucks. Have you told Christina?"
"Well we haven't seen her. She's kind of MIA at the moment" Zach snickered.
After a few minutes, they heard footsteps walking towards them.
"What took you so long?" Zach asked Christina who looked a little grumpy.
"Well, that bitch of a journalism teacher decided to make us stay over time" Christina blew a strand of hair away from her face, "What were you guys talking about?"
"Oh do you want to go to the movies on Saturday?" Daniel asked.
"Sure, but why not on friday?"
"We have a family dinner"
"Okay" Christina looked at her watch and turned to them, "I need to go, a representative of fabletics wanted to talk to me"
"Bye" Zach waved.

"I'm hungryyy" Zach said for what seemed like the hundredth time.
They were just leaving the cinema and was heading towards the cafe around the corner.
"We're walking over there now Zach, please shut up" Daniel rolled his eyes.
When they entered the cafe doors Christina let out a surprised squeal.
"No fucking way" Christina breathed out.
Daniel turned to where Christina was looking and saw a familiar blonde with his infamous sidekick.
"Cory" Daniel mumbled.
"You know his name?" Christina asked.
"Yeah, he's my lab partner for the whole semester. A very anti-social guy"
"A very attractive one too"
"This place is packed, I want to eat" Zach stood on his tip toes and looked for an empty booth, "Can't you just ask Cory and his friend if we can sit with them?"
"I wish we were that close but every time I tried to talk to him, he'd just ignore me"
A random thought made it's way to Daniel's head and he smirked.
"But I do have an idea"
Zach looked at his best friend's face and grinned.
"This is gonna be good"
Daniel had a new found confidence. He walked up to Corbyn's table and stood in front of them, both boys looked surprised.
"This place is pretty packed" Daniel looked around, and smiled at them. "Do you mind if my friends and I sit with you guys?"
"Yes-" Corbyn started.
"No, not at all" The other guy said smiling.
"Great" Daniel waved Christina and Zach forward.
"Finally, I'm hungry" Zach bounded forward and turned towards Daniel, "Can we order now?"
"I'll come with you guys, since Cory here doesn't want to" The tall guy stood up and went to the counter with Zach. Daniel gave Christina a concerned look before following them.
Christina awkwardly stood for a moment before sitting across Corbyn in the booth, looking out the window while Corbyn was just scrolling through his phone.
"Do you remember me?"
Corbyn looked up from his phone and at the brunette before him.
"Yes" Corbyn answered, "You're that girl I was with in San-"
"Stop, let's not talk about it" Christina sighed, "We were both drunk, we didn't know what we were doing"
"Oh... right sorry"
"Well since I haven't properly introduced myself. I'm Christina Marie Harris. You?"
"I'm... Cory. Cory Anderson. I didn't think I would see you again..."
"Same here... Can we not talk about it.. ever?"
"Sure" Corbyn said and once again started scrolling through his phone.
The boys came back with their food and everyone started eating. Corbyn watched as Christina sipped on her milkshake and look out the window.
"It was just a one time thing" Corbyn thought.
