~Jane POV~

I knew Jeonghan was behind the wall the entire time Josh and I were talking with Suhannie. When she got up and left so did he. He went after her faster than Coups can rap. Josh looked over at me while I merely had a satisfied grin on my face. He eyed me suspiciously.

"You knew he was there, didn't you?" I smiled at him.

"Yes, and now he understands her and can try to fix things himself," Josh only chuckled and shook his head. He stood up and lent his hand out to me.

"Come on let's go for a walk,"

"Why?"

"Because we need to find out if we are truly meant to be together as well, remember?" I sighed. I knew this was coming but I'm still scared. Wingmates are serious for our kind. I love Josh. I don't want to be without him. He lead the way as we walked towards the schools garden. We thought it would be better to leave the other two alone at home. When we arrived I autopiloted my way to the Hawaiian flowers I usually take care of.

"Do you miss home?" Josh asked as he stood behind me.

"Everyday," I thought back. I do miss my old home. I miss my brother mostly. But, I love it here in Korea. "But, I don't think I'd live there again," I admitted.

"Why not?" He asked sounding curious and confused.

"It just wouldn't feel the same, you know?" I remember it when I was little. My mom smiling while watching my brother and I play. Dad cooking dinner on the barbeque. But, if I go back, I won't be able to have those memories again,"

"How come?"

"My mom passed away when my brother was 10. I moved here a year later to get away from my dad. After mom died he became an alcoholic and angry all the time. He started abusing me. Finally, I got the courage to tell my papa about it. He got my dad arrested and took my brother and I into his care. He knew that I was still haunted by what my father had done so he helped me move here to get a fresh start. I don't think I'll ever be able to go back permanently after that," I hadn't realized it but, while telling him this I was crying. Josh hugged me tight and whisper my tears.

"Hey, it's okay. I'm here. I'll keep you safe. I promise," I had become a sobbing mess at this point. I never told anyone about my past. Not even Suhan and Sooyoung. But, I told Josh. I trusted him and felt comfortable enough to show him the darkest part of me.

"I'm okay now. I've never really thought of it much after I left until today. It hurt too much. But, I trust you and I think I chose the right person to show this side of me to," I smiled weakly at him and he looked me in the eyes with an expression on his face that I can't explain. Then, he said three words that made me melt.

"I love you,"
