Man's best friend, Dog
Dog is loyal to man
In her eyes were stars
Her head was under water
She had a ribbon

He held her ribbon
tightly, like the leash of a dog
Her thoughts muffled in the water
He wanted to keep her close, that woman
They weren't shining anymore, the stars
She was still loyal, to that man

She was the most beautiful woman
In place of a leash was a ribbon
He controls the stars
She was obedient, like a dog
The one in charge was the man
He kept her head in water

She wanted her head out of the water
She wanted to be a free woman
He wanted to be top man
He held the soft tightly tied ribbon
Calling her back treating her like a dog
Pulling her back to his arms. Shutting down the stars

No shining stars
Still and calm was the water
Stood pretty as a poodle dog
She now wasn't a woman
It was used to hold her back, and in her place, the ribbon
The one in charge was a man.
