Chapter 27. Bonus Epilogue

10 YEARS LATER... 

It was Jimin and Jungkook's 10th wedding anniversary, and they had both cleared their incredibly busy schedules for a trip to Paris, the place they went ten years earlier for that unforgettable honeymoon.  Mr Yoo had organised them to be whisked away business class to an all expenses paid 5 star hotel, Cour Des Vosages, in the picturesque Marais district.  The honeymoon was his gift to them, 'His sons' he had called them as he wept at their beautiful wedding.  The week long trip had been spent sight seeing, eating French cuisine and sampling the many wines on offer in the many cafe's and bars that decorated the city.  The night's were spent exploring each others bodies as husbands, making love with the balcony doors thrown open with the noises of the Parisien city adding fuel to their romance.

They were both looking forward to rekindling those memories on their anniversary trip.  So much had happened in 10 years, Jimin and Jungkook graduated the academy with first class honours.  They had been offered idol traineeships by the company 'Big Hit' but turned them down politely when part of the contract dictated that their marriage and relationship must be kept secret.  Both boys had fought hard and been through far too much to just get back in a closet, so they made the decision to open their own small dance company with some of the money Jimin received as compensation from Mr Jeon.  Hobi had come to work with them, while  Yoongi, now his husband,  was a music producer alongside Namjoon, working with big names worldwide.

Jimin had recieved a lot of compensation money  for the attack, equating to billions of wons.  He'd been uncomfortable spending 'Jungkook's inheritance' as he called it, but Jk had reminded him sincerely that they were husbands and encouraged him to follow his dreams and open his studio of dance.  He'd found a great building and bought it outright, he and Jungkook employing a small number of good dance instructors including Hobi, offering affordable places and good scholarships for deserving kids.  Jimin also donated the equivalent of a million US Dollars to the LGBTQ Foundation, national charity and became their ambassador.  He'd taken great delight in writing to Mr Jeon in prison to inform him that his money had been used to help people mistreated by prejudice and bigotry.  He told him that he forgave his actions, but that he and Jungkook would never think about him, nor mention his name again, it had been a cathartic closure for both Jimin and Jungkook.  

Jackson Wang was murdered in prison 2 years into his sentence, he'd crossed the wrong person inside and ended up having his throat slit mysteriously.  Jungkook didn't see his mother again, he'd heard through gossips that she had divorced his father and had remarried a Spanish business tycoon and he silently wished her all the best with no malice, he'd chosen his happy ending and it was her decision not to be part of it.  Mr Yoo was now a grandfather, he rekindled his relationship with Jeongyeon after her actions in the courtroom.  She chose to finish her education in England where she met and married an English professor 10 years her senior, they now have 2 small boys and travel back to Korea when they can to visit her father.  Mr Yoo also remarried, with Jeongyeon's complete blessing, she was a lovely woman who embraced the group of misfit friends and became another person to add to their family.  

Jimin's parents remained in Busan, but with the beautiful house Jimin and Jungkook bought them, they sold up and retired from their bakery business and the boys visit them often due to his fathers health declining over the years making travel difficult.   Tae and Jin both made it as actors and were big names in the Korean television and film industry, with Tae gaining the title of eligible bachelor and international playboy, modelling for Gucci.  Jin was the sweetheart of telenovelas, the biggest surprise to the whole group was when he and Namjoon announced that their friendship had taken a dramatic turn and they had realised they had feelings for each other, they had recently married and were set to adopt a baby girl from a surrogate.
