CHAPTER 3: Change of Heart

We became close as time goes by....Adrian and me. Siguro kasi nga his girlfriend is my friend. Pero feeling close lang sya nung una. Pakitang gilas para okay sa mga kaibigan ni Nina. Haha. But they are together for 4months already...starting from July to November (syempre di ko na kinuwento yun. Story ko nga kasi diba. HAHA).

Every vacant  namin, halos kami lagi ang magkasama. Don't be mistaken ha? Iba kasi schedule ni Nina from us since she's from another block. Also, I have barkada. My lovely barkada. Mapupunta din tayo dun. Wait ka lang.

Going back. Lagi kaming magkasama because lagi din naguusap. About them, about me, about school and about life, too. Sobrang comfortable sa isa't isa. Parang bestfriends. Minsan nga nagtatampo na ang aking circle of friends. Minsan na lang daw ako nakakasama sa mga gala. But they get it. Lagi ko pa din naman silang nakaka-Skype. Kahit nga minsan kauuwi lang at magkasama naman kami sa school, ganon kami. O diba? Hahaha.

Well, about Adrian. Nakita ko yung side nya na kahit kailan di ko inasahan. Kasi his image for me WAS a Mr.Know-it-All.

I admit, ayoko sa kanya noon for Nina. You know already why. But he showed me how caring he is... how loving he can be.

Habang tumatagal, naging crush ko siya. Oo, crush lang naman. Ang kulit niya kasi eh! Sweet pa. Eh? Hahaha

Kapag nagaaway sila, Nina tells me how she feels. Adrian tells me how he feels, too. Maybe because their mindset is that I could talk to the other party to make it okay for them despite their 'tampuhan'.

Nina is the one who talks about Adrian much rather than Adrian doing so. She's the girl after all. No need to question that.

Minsan, may isang away sila. If I remember it right, dahil lang sa isang misunderstanding. It has something to do ata with Nina's comment about Adrian's cousin. Ewan! Di ko masyado na-gets yung kuwento ni Nina nun kasi she's crying habang nagra-rant. Basta it's like that. That time, Ian talked to me about his relationship with Nina.

"Sam. You know how weird it is for me to call you by that name? It's like I'm calling myself. Hahaha. In case you're still wondering why, Sam kasi tawag sakin sa bahay. [smiles]" -Adrian

"Yeah, I know right, Sam. Hahaha! Hey. Kamusta na kayo ni Nina? You guys fine after your 'tampuhan'?" - Me (Maddie)

"I guess so. Ewan ko  Masyado na atang complicated. Nagkukwento ba sya sa'yo recently?"

"Yeah. Pero bihira. Maybe because busy nga tayo. Unlike you and me, nagkakausap personally because we're classmates. Bakit mo naman natanong? Chismoso nito!"

"Di naman! Naitanong ko lang. Grabe. Wala lang. Ano, iba na kasi. Parang, she changed into someone far from that girl I fell in love with."

"Weird. Bakit naman? Akala ko ba sabi mo okay na kayo? Eh anong inaarte mo jan? [tapped him quite strong]"

"Di ako umaarte. Yung totoo? Babae ka ba talaga? Lakas manghampas eh! Seryoso nga kasi. Ang weird lang din ng feeling ko about Nina and I. Parang may mali."

"Okay fine. Sabi mo eh. [pouts]"

"[tapped me too...then looks at his watch]. Uy! Halaaaa! Mag-1:30 na pala. Tara na! Bilis! Mamaya na lang tayo magusap."

Edi ayun go na sa next class. Hala sige takbo paakyat sa 5th floor kahit katatapos lang mag-lunch. Kasi nga, mahirap ma-late sa major subject!!! College peeps would know. Haha
