Alexia's POV
I walk into school happier than usual. I hate school but my new job legit made me so happy. I know its only been one shift but they are great people. As I made my way through the crowd I heard something.
"Alexia!" That's weird, I don't know anyone here. Turning I see Micah dragging Kortney behind him over to me. She looks annoyed with his actions but I couldn't help but laugh.
"Hey guys, what are you doing here?" I asked slightly shocked.
"Baking cookies. What does it look like?" Micah said sarcastically. Kortney elbowed him before smiling at me.
"We started school here since we moved a few weeks ago. I never seen you here before though." Kortney said thoughtfully.
"It's a big school. I'm not really that noticeable in a crowd." Shrugging it off as normal.
"You are if we can spot you in a crowd of thirty students. What classes do you have?" Micah says casually. I hand him the schedule that is always in my binder. He looks it over before handing it to Kortney. She smiled excitedly as she read through the schedule.
"We have four periods together starting with first period!" She said handing back my schedule. Smiling at them I realized something well someone was missing.
"Where's Sebastian?" I asked confused.
"We are doing different days of who opens up shop and who goes to school. We don't have a lot of employees quite yet." Micah explained as we start walking down the hall.
"What about your parents?" I asked even more confused than before. Did their parents allow them to open a shop without them? Before they could answer the bell rang signaling class. The halls were filled with students rushing to get to their first class without being late.
"Well we can't be late. Race ya." Micah said before taking off down the hall towards first. Kortney and I follow but Kortney gained speed. Damn they're fast! The next thing I know Micah is falling to the ground as Kortney leaves him in the dust. I laughed as he got up and tried to catch up. Micah glares at us before charging at Kortney but she made it to the classroom before he could tackle her. I follow him in as he has a scowl on his face but Kortney couldn't be happier. These people are way too weird!
