Third's POV

"So that's how they get past the land." Kortney said levitating a bottle of unmarked chemicals. It held no scent which proved it's point further. Sebastian and Micah weren't thrilled at their findings but at least they were learning the hunters secrets.

"I say that's enough for today. Let's head back up and check on Alexia's progress." Micah said before leaving his office. Kortney and Sebastian followed as they make it out into the living room. It was empty besides the books that she was studying.

"I thought you said-"

"Maybe she needed a brain break." Kortney said before heading into the kitchen. She wasn't there either.

"Her scent is faint Kortney." Micah said gently.

"She went for a walk." Kortney said firmly before heading outside. The wolves stopped practicing at Micah's prescence.

"Has anyone seen Alexia?" He asked with his Alpha tone.

"She went down the path towards the lake, sir." A female wolf spoke from the back.

"She got lost that's all." Kortney said in denial. They rushed down the path in hopes of finding something but there was a scent they didn't appreciate. Small hints of blood scented the air.

"Get the pack together. Kortney collect what you need." Micah said before heading back to the pack.

"We'll get her back." Sebastian said comforting Kortney.

"We are going to kill these sons of bitches who took her." Kortney said before chanting once more. They knew it was time to end this. The witches must pay.

{Alexia's POV}

The man walked out of the shadow's. His stature came off evil in waves.

"Who are you?" I asked, doing my best to stay away from him but he watched me with careful eyes.

"I suppose you could say that I am your grandfather." He said with a slight smile but there was no happiness in it whatsoever. No no I don't have any family besides my mom and uncle! This is a lie!

"No you're lying." I said, certain of it. There is no way my mother or uncle would lie to me about a grandfather, there is just no way!

"Your mother knew what would happen. What your fate was. She had the same fate and yet she couldn't go through with it. The agreement was that her bastard child was to follow the fate she refused to follow. Once her child was born happily, she took off." He said as disgust took over his features. He had moms beautiful green eyes and facial structure but I didn't want to believe it.

"That's not mom. Mom keeps her agreements." I said with disbelief and shock clouding everything forcing me to sit on whatever chair was behind me.

"Yes, she kept the ones she made to you. She was raised the same as her brother but she wanted to see the good in those creatures-"

"Those creatures are werewolves and they are not creatures, they are loyal warriors." I spat. His green eyes went cold so fast.

"They brain washed you to think that. You weren't taught in the family way, what we know about them." He said trying not to get too upset with me but he wasn't hiding his distain either.

"You obviously don't know a whole lot. Hunters are the monsters. They murder family of wolves without a second thought." I said upset but trying not to yell.

"You sound just like your mother. Don't worry I can fix that and get us right on track." He said as his face appeared almost friendly now, almost like he forgot he had to keep face.

"You're delusional!" I spat but I felt a sting start in my left cheek.

"You will speak to me with respect." He said sternly. I glared at him. He will not make me submit like my uncle.

"Respect is earned." I almost growled at him as I stood up ready for a fight with this stranger.

"Your uncle obviously didn't beat you enough." He spat at me.

"How did you-"

"It's how you are supposed to be raised! It is how we are all raised. Females are pawns and Males are strong. You would know that if your mother hadn't had left with you." He said sternly.

"That is a horrible way to raise someone!" I exclaimed upset. No wonder mom left.

"It is the only way to raise someone!" He exclaimed and got ready to hit me one last time.

"That will be all Mr. Quinton. I will take over." Sage said from behind him. Great everyone's least favorite bitch. He glared at me one last time before leaving the room.

"Kidnapping me is getting old Sage." I said tired of this. She smiled which was odd for her.

"Well trust me its no picnic for me either. See we come to terms with not just hunters or not just witches will destroy those mutts known as wolves. So we figured we should join forces." She said with a plotting look on her face.

"Okay well what does that deal with me? They won't come if that's what you're hoping for. They will keep their own safe." I said sternly.

"Oh that's not why you are wanted. You see you are the same age as Kortney." She said walking over to the window.

"Okay and what does that have to do with anything?" I asked getting annoyed.

"Kortney isn't aware of her family's role. In fact its amazing how tied together you all are. After all you were suppose to marry her brother." Sage said with a smirk. No.

"You're lying. This isn't happening. You all lie-" My mind was breaking at all these shocks. It's like I didn't even know myself.

"How would we know so much about you? We had to get you accustomed to what we live with. Yet they came and saved you. How sweet. Now its time to stop pretending. Its time start with what you were born to do." Sage said turning serious.

"No I refuse. I won't help you." I said determined. She grinned at me.

"Than I suppose its time to change your mind." My body flared with pain as it felt like I was going to be burned from the inside out. "Lets see how long you last with me. " She said before hitting me. Please let this end.
