Alexia's POV

Turning around I saw them and I felt relief. Kortney didn't look happy though which I wouldn't expect them too.

"Hello Sage. Been a while but we have to stop meeting like this." Kortney said with a smirk. Sage was suddenly behind me and had a tight grip on me.

"I wouldn't be such a smartass Kortney." She said as her grip tighten. I've dealt with worse so this didn't phase me.

"What do you want Sage?" She asked annoyed.

"You all dead. I could just settle for you though." A loud growl cut through the air. Micah was on the verge of shifting.

"You would have no head before you could even touch her." He said sharply. The cackle followed at his words.

"Can you say that with all of us?" She asked and I felt more power enter.

"When are you going to learn that numbers aren't power." Kortney said shaking her head.

"When you're a witch it is! You don't know that though you half breed!" Sage exclaimed and her hand started to heat up as her anger flared. My heart sped up at what was about to happen.

"There is nothing wrong with being a half breed! I was made from love but you were made from a fucking arrange marriage. Tell me who is the half breed." Kortney sneered and I have never seen her so upset. My arm started to burn and I couldn't help the groan of pain that slipped out.

"Let her go! She isn't apart of this!" Sebastian exclaimed.

"She is now!" She said before I started to smell burning flesh and pain took over my arm causing me to scream. That's when all hell broke loose. Wolves replaced my friends but my concentration broke when my head felt like it was being stabbed. The ground hit me as I clutched my head in pain. Flashes of the fight went past me. Heads rolled and blood was spilled. I heard a whimper coming from one of them and I didn't know who it was but I couldn't just lie there. I got up against everything in me and jumped on the person before they could hurt the wolf further. I choked them as they backed away from the wolf. The man tried to claw me off but I didn't release him. Adrenaline coursed through my veins. Suddenly I am flung from him and it felt as my back broke on impact. The world spun as the fight continued. That man walked towards me and my head pain come back but worse. My body felt like it was being twisted in ways it shouldn't be. Suddenly it stopped as Divinity jumped on the man. He tried using his powers on her but it didn't work. She swung her paw and suddenly the pain stopped. My body ached as it had been abused far more than it had been before. Suddenly all the fighting stopped The wolves were humans and I knew we had won. Kortney's concerned face came into vision as she tried to help me sit up but my body wouldn't allow it.

"Kortney don't I'm okay." I panted out.

"Let me help you please." She said gently.

"No help the others. Where are Micah and Sebastian?" I asked not wanting to move.

"Helping the others clean up and see who we lost. Now let me heal you." She said as her hands hovered over me. Black dots clouded my vision and I knew I needed help.

"Okay." I said softly. She was quick. She grabbed something before I felt something comforting go through my veins. It healed the aches but it was quickly turned into more pain. My bones that broke snapped back to their proper place and healed better. I tried not to scream but it hurt so bad that whimpers came out of my mouth.

"Just a little longer." She said soothingly as my body pieced its self back together. She wasn't wrong and soon it all faded well except for the exhaustion I felt.

"How is she?" Sebastian asked coming into my vision.

"She'll be okay now. She is going to scar slightly." Kortney said as they let me rest for a second.

"Let's get her back to the house." Sebastian said before they helped me up. Seeing the place and all the blood made me sick.

"Focus on me okay." Sebastian said blocking my vision. I nodded as we started to walk home.

"Wait where's Micah?" Kortney asked looking around.

"He was right behind us." Sebastian said as he scanned the area.

"MICAH!" Kortney exclaimed as we started to look. I wasn't focused on the tragedy. I was focused on finding our friend. They heard something and we all took off in that direction. Micah was staring at something.

"Bro what's wrong?" Sebastian asked walking towards him but Micah growled.

"Mine." He said gruffly. Kortney and Sebastian gasped but I didn't understand.

"Who?" They asked at the same time. I walked towards him to see a girl staring at him scared.

"Hey what's your name?" I asked gently.

"Daisy." She said softly.

"Daisy are you okay?" I asked crouching down to her.

"I'm scared. They grabbed me when I was running and used me to get them more power." She nearly whimpered.

"You're okay now. Come with us." I said extending my hand to her. She took it gently before we stood up. Micah went to walk forward to her but ended up tripping over a tree root in the ground. Despite the situation we were in I couldn't help but laugh which caused everyone else even Daisy to laugh.

"Smooth move Micah." Sebastian said with a chuckle. Micah got up ignoring our laughter as he made his way over to us.

"Hello mate." Daisy said softly. She was taller than Kortney and I but still shorter than Micah. Her ombre hair was caked in dirt and her body was the same way.

"Hi." He said with a simple smile.

"Hey love birds we kind of need to take care the mess and get them back." Sebastian said from behind which caused him to growl.

"Let's go." Daisy said tugging on his arm. We all started to walk to the house but I had a lot on my mind. Mainly what exactly was Kortney and why did they call her a half breed?
