Wild pulled up in front of the house and glanced at his phone to make sure he was in the right place. He was.

He looked up at the house. It was huge. He remembered looking for houses with the others, but he completely forgot what the house looked like. He probably had the worst memory in history.

He drove the motorbike into the garage, which was already open. He hopped off and went inside, using the key that Twilight had given everyone. He was pretty surprised that he hadn't lost the key somewhere.

His first impression of the house was that it was absolutely huge. It was bigger than any house he had lived in, and that was saying something. His dad was one of the highest ranking knights in the royal guard, so he had always had quite a bit of money.
Well, until last year.

He shook his head. He didn't want to think about that. Unlike most things, that... event was burned into his mind.
But like he said, he didn't want to think about that. No way.

He walked farther into the house, shutting the door to the garage behind him. It was open, yet cozy. Who ever designed this house was a genius. Well, that was what he thought. He didn't know much about critiquing houses. Just cooking and exploring and getting money. Which was what he had been doing for the past year. And how he had met the others, just a month or two ago.

Anyway.
Speaking of cooking, he saw the kitchen to his left. He made a beeline for it, tossing his things down on the ground.

It was the most beautiful kitchen he had ever seen. It had everything he could hope for. A bar area, a fancy stove, a huge fridge, a walk-in pantry, a big island, everything.
Well, not everything. Twilight, who had come up with this idea and therefore bought the house(using a lot of Wild's money), hadn't bought any food. In fact, it looked like he barely furnished the place.
Whatever. Wild could easily buy some stuff.

"Hey! Twi! Where are you?"
Damn, was this place echoey. All the more reason to fill it up.
Twilight came down the stairs, and upon seeing Wild, he exclaimed, throwing his arms up, "Hey! You're the first one here! Feel free to explore."

Wild nodded, walking over. "Yeah. I already saw the kitchen. It's amazing. Except for the fact that you didn't buy any food, and I'm pretty sure that's important for, y'know, survival. Also, this place is freaking empty."
"No, its not! I put a couch over there!"
"I'm guessing the tv was built in, then."
Twilight nodded. "You should pick up your stuff."

"Yeah, I guess." Wild walked over and grabbed his bags, then went to the couch and fell onto it.

Right as he hit the cushions, the front door opened and Time came in, Wind following close behind. Wind ran in, immediately running everywhere.

"This place is huge!!"
Wild laughed at Wind's excitement, watching as he poked his head into every nook and cranny he could find.

"There's a closet under the stairs! How cool is that!? This place is amazing for hide and seek!"
Wild laughed. "And if someone tried to break in and kill us."
Wind turned around, confused. "What?"
"If a murderer came in and tried to kill us, we could easily hide. For instance, the fridge is giant. You could probably fit in there. And if you'll notice-" he stood up and walked over to Wind, leaning on the wall next to the closet- "there's a second door here that's barely visible. Prime hiding spot." He bent over and tapped the wall, saying, "Wish this was in my old house."

"Wow. You'd be really good at hide and seek. Wanna play with me?"
"Nah. Not right now. Maybe later, once everyone is here."
Wind jumped up. "Yay! I hope they get here soon!"

He ran outside, pulling Time with him. A few minutes later, they came back with their things. Wind had a rolling suitcase and a ton of bags, whereas Time just had a normal suitcase and one bag.

"So," Time began, "where are our rooms?"
Twilight walked over to the window and looked out of it. "I think we should wait until everyone is here."
Time nodded. "That would be a good idea."

Wind ran to the kitchen and threw open the fridge.
"Hey, where's all the food? I'm starving!"
"I haven't gotten any yet," Twilight called. "You'll just have to wait."
Wind made a pouty face at Twilight, but said nothing. He just walked over to the couch, sat down, and turned the tv on. Wild sat next to him, propping his feet up on the coffee table.

A few minutes later, the door opened and Warrior came in. He dropped his bags next to everyone else's and strolled over to the couch, leaning on the back of it. "This place is pretty nice. Looks even better than the pictures." He looked over at Twilight. "How'd you get such a nice place, Twi?"
"Wild lent me some money."

"Yeah, and you're gonna have to pay me back at least a little. It took me ages to collect enough stuff to get all that money."

Warrior laughed. "So how much was it?"
Twilight walked over. "A couple hundred thousand rupees."
"And Wild just had all that?"
Twilight shrugged. "I dunno. He gave me, like, 90 percent of it."
Warrior turned to Wild. "Where do you keep all that?"
"Places."
"But really, where?"
"Not telling you."
"Is it at a bank?"
"No. Too easy for someone to steal it that way."
"Then where is it all?"
"I said, I'm not telling you. And I'm also not telling you how much I have. Someone could be listening."
"Who would be eavesdropping right now? And where would they even be?"
"There are plenty of places. The pantry, the stair closets, behind the tv-"
"There's space behind that?"
Wild nodded. "I saw a hidden latch. Anyway, there are a lot of places someone could be hiding. You can never be too prepared for the worst."
