Continuation of the Readers Pov.
You entered the kitchen with Jackie, avoiding eye-contact with Dark and Anti. You didn't want to be near the two, both showing they were extremely dangerous to you and everyone in this house- building- hotel- whatever it was, they were too dangerous.
You scooted closer to Jackie, he seemed, strong enough if anything happens. Jackie glanced at the two men, going straight for the fridge and taking out a jug of milk, he practically threw the container onto the counter before opening the brown cabinets.
He placed down multiple different boxes of cereal, you read all the titles with interest, glancing at the onesie-wearing man as he pulled out a white bowl and a spoon.
You did the rest, looking around the kitchen hesitantly to see where to sit, your bowl of cereal in hand. Jackie took notice and sat down next to Dark and Anti, patting down the seat right beside him.
"Come on, Y/n, I have a seat right here for ya!" Jackie smiled welcomingly, you, slowly, made your way to sit beside him, looking down at your feet to avoid seeing the men.
You quickly began to eat your cereal, slightly listening to Jackie talking about his training with someone named, Sliver Shepherd.
You weren't, completely focused, you would if it wasn't for those two staring at you! You could feel their stares burning your skin. Could they stop staring at you, or were you the greatest thing they ever saw?
They even stopped speaking, even worse.
Your palms were getting more sweaty than they already were. Jackie continued his story, trying to ease the tension and awkwardness Anti and Dark were causing.
Why the hell were they focusing on you this much!?
What was so special about you? You were a child with no memories found by the Host, nothing special compared to the people that lived here.
A sharp pain went through your entire body, a book flashing in your vision.
You gasped, almost choking on your cereal, coughing violently into your arm. Jackie's hand was placed on your back, his eyes filled with concern. "Kid? Kid, are you okay?"
You were going to respond until you fell into another coughing fit, your lungs trying to get rid of the milk, Jackie patted your back, patiently waiting for you to stop coughing your lungs out.
You took a sharp inhale, pausing, you looked up at Jackie, Anti, and Dark staring at you, you immediately looked back down, your face burning with embarrassment.
"S-sorry about that, milk went d-down the wrong pipe." You reassured and half lied to Jackie, not aiming it for the two other males. You didn't think, Dark and Anti truly cared about your wellbeing, they didn't even say anything while you were coughing, only staring.
They didn't even move.
You didn't need to reassure them about anything.
Jackie nodded, believing you, continuing with his story.
You completely blocked his voice out of your mind, focused on the vision that made you almost choke.
Who killed Markipler?
The same book from the abandoned library, when the Host found you there by yourself, a child with no memories standing there outside the library with blistered palms and wide eyes. The only thing you call that was familiar to you, you forgot. You forgot that book, that same book with your name in it, the same book that you were familiar with, the same book that made you cry, the book that you forgot stupidly because you were distracted by the Host.
You were sure that the same book was the key to figure out what happened before the library.
And you left it.
You were such an idiot.
How could you have forgotten the only book that gave you such a strong emotional response that you cried!?
You don't even remember what page you were on.
You were so busy beating up yourself that you didn't even notice you were done eating until Jackie coughed awkwardly, pointing at your empty bowl with a drop of leftover milk.
"Sorry, you were scraping your spoon against the bowl and bringing it to your mouth," Jackie explained you were confused until you realized you were imagining eating imaginary cereal, you felt even more embarrassed than before.
You lowered yourself into your chair, ears red.
You were eating imaginary cereal in front of Dark and Anti.
Your day couldn't get any worse.
You didn't even dare to apologize.
Jackie, wanting to ease your embarrassment got up and grabbed your bowl, beckoning you to follow him.
You got up without a word, watching him place your bowl and spoon into the sink before going back into the living room. You followed him the entire way, nervously ignoring the gazes of Dark and Anti training on you.
Yancy and Google were sitting down on the couch, both sitting as far away from each other as possible. You snorted at the scene, covering your mouth, their frowns were hilarious!
Jackie's eyebrow raised, crossing his arms. "Are you two done fighting?"
Google glanced at him, his frown deepening, nodding.
Yancy huffed. "Yes."
Jackie smiled. "Good, now you can have Y/n back to watch."
You felt his hands on your shoulder as he pushed you towards the males, your face scrunched up unhappily.
Yancy jumped up before noticing, your upset expression, he sheepishly scratched the back of his neck. "Ah, Y/n, Google and I wanted to say we're sorry about our constant arguin', right, Google?"
Google didn't respond, he's eyes glowing neon red, he rolled his eyes, distastefully. Yancy gave him a pointed look, his eyes narrowing and fist clenching. You were glancing between the two, your arms crossed, expecting another argument to break out.
"Don't make me ask you questions until youses crash." Yancy threatened.
Google's eyes widen, he stood up quickly, stiffening. "Yes, we a-apologize for our actions, we realized it was quite c-childish of us, and we'll act b-better in the f-future of our t-time."
Your eyes widen as well, shocked, you didn't expect him to actually apologize. You shifted, your arms dropping to your side, a small smile growing on your face.
"Apology accepted."
Now, you were sure you could get your book back.
