Not so bad

Story:
"Annnnnnnd he runs away from you again..... How much does this bring the count to, Hoseokkie?" Namjoon said, looking highly amused at Min-I-hate-all-of-you-Yoongi's normal bitch face breaking character to turn into a heartbroken, almost lonely expression as they watched a pink haired fluff ball rush down the hallway, in the exact opposite direction from where they were standing.
Hoseok snorted, saying, "I think it's the 15th time this week, Joonie.... What did you even do for Park Jimin, resident marshmallow that literally apologies to the person that trips him, to hate you so much, hyung? I swear, I didn't think it was possible for Park Jimin to actually hate anyone, that kid practically lives on another planet."
Yoongi swiftly switched back to his normal bitch face, glaring at Hoseok, about to spit fire from his mouth, but another voice cut in, saying, " It's Yoongi's special skill. But really, Yoongi yah! I thought you guys were getting along, I mean, you were smiling at each other in the hallways and stuff! Why is he running away from you now?!" It was Jin, frowning as he looked at Yoongi, who suddenly lost all of his anger at Hoseok and looked like a kicked puppy, shoulders sagging as he bit his lip, watching the now empty hallway where Jimin had escaped from him, yet again.
It had been like this all week, and Yoongi was honestly ready to rip someone apart, he was that frustrated. Why was Jimin running away and avoiding him? Everytime Yoongi entered a place where Jimin was, be it a hallway or a classroom or the University café, Jimin would either run away, or find the farthest place away from Yoongi. It had happened too
many times to be called a coincidence, and Yoongi had all but torn through his hair to think of something, anything, that could cause the other boy to act like this. Like Hoseok had said, Park Jimin was the literal definition of a human puppy, always smiling and bouncy, giving everyone his beautiful, breath stealing eye smile like those scum deserved it. He was kind to the core, and while it got Yoongi's heart to melt into a pile of goo, it also got him a lot of people taking advantage of it. It didn't help that Jimin was considered a "kkonminnam"
(https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kkonminam) and this earned him a lot of scorn and hatred, especially from ignorant, stupid, annoying teenage boys. Add the fact that Jimin could be the poster boy for church with his goody two-shoes personality, and was a huge geeky nerd, meant that his social life in college was, for lack of a polite term, non-existent. Not that he didn't have any friends. Yoongi had often seen a lanky haired teen, whom he now knew as Taehyung, around Jimin, jumping on his back in the middle of the hallway, or calling his name out loud from the opposite side of the room wherever Jimin was, inevitably attracting attention to the duo.
Yoongi couldn't deny his envy at Taehyung getting to actually hang out with Jimin, getting to talk to Jimin, look at that angelic face 24/7(they were roommates, that kid had some freaky luck), being close to Jimin, listening to that squeaky, bell like voice(Yoongi had written a song about it, but the day he admitted that would be the day he jumped off the University roof) that sounded like a 12 year old and not a 21 year old, and hug him, and squish those baby smooth cheeks, and hold him when he cried, and listen to his laughter, and possibly even make him laugh, and-yes, Yoongi was very much addicted to the small wonder that is Park Jimin. And yes, Yoongi's heart had skipped one too many beats when he saw Jimin giving him tiny smiles when their eyes met in the hallways or in the cafe where he worked part-time, abandoning all his efforts to socialize as minimally as possible when Jimin walked in, shoving whoever was at the till aside to take Jimin's order himself, just so that he could hear that angelic voice talk to him.
