Jimin and Yoongi’s first “I love you”

Summary:
Jimin loves his boyfriend. Yoongi loves him back. But they never said that to each other.
Story:
“Yoongi?”
“Mh?”
Yoongi was currently busy pouring some tea into his cup and wasn’t looking at Jimin.
“I love you”
“Mm-mmh.. wait, what?” he gasped out, turning around quickly towards his boyfriend.
“I’m sorry for saying this now, I know it’s probably weird. But I just felt it. I was looking at you, doing nothing special, just ordinary actions, and I still felt so mesmerized by the way you were moving and I wondered how you were able to make me feel this way even when doing the most normal things and then I thought I wanted to keep seeing you do these stupid things forever and after this all of a sudden it hit me, I love you. I love you so much and I have just felt all this love because my heart clenched and my stomach started hurting. So I had to say it. I love you Yoongi”.
He stared at the boy who was standing right in front of him. He had spoken fast, with a slightly shaking voice and bright red cheeks. Yoongi had now an expression of slight shock painted on his face. He just muttered “Ji-.. Jimin…” before stopping whatever it was he was going to say, putting the mug he was holding down on the counter and slowly making his way to the other guy. He got closer to him and took his hands, helping him to get up the chair. They were standing one in front of the other now, not much distance between their faces, their breathing heavy and their hands clasped together. Yoongi finally spoke.
“I’m so glad you sad it first. I wanted to say it so many times but... but... “
Jimin stared at him with a confused look. When it seemed clear to him that the boy would not have said anything else he prompted him:
“But what?”
Yoongi looked at him and said simply:
“I was afraid you wouldn’t feel the same way”.
His eyes were shining brightly and a light shade of red colored his face.
Jimin got his face closer to Yoongi’s, their lips almost brushing together.
“You can say it now” he whispered.
Yoongi’s hands went straight to the younger boy’s waist and pulled him closer, almost possessively. Looking straight into Jimin’s eyes he said it back.
“I love you too”
As soon as he breathed these words their lips crushed together. They started exploring each other’s mouths with a heated and passionate kiss, Yoongi finally feeling now perfectly light and Jimin feeling completely happily.
