"Tingin saan?" Baron asked.

Nanatili ako sa posisyon; nakahilig ang ulo sa bintana at sarado ang mga mata habang nakahalukipkip. Hindi naman talaga ako natutulog. I still don't trust them enough to risk it. Akala siguro nila, tulog ako.
I guess I have to pretend that I am now that they're about to talk about me.

"Tingin ko hindi niya talaga tayo kilala," I heard Ferdy say in a sure tone. "Plus she's not from this town."
"How could you be so sure? She could be lying, you know." Carrie spoke.
"I'm with Carrie," Drim's deep voice said.
"If you think so, then what could be her reason to lie?" Dru argues.
"She's... a bit shady, I think." Baron doesn't sound so sure. Well, they are shady, too!
"Aren't we the same, though?" Dru said matter of factly which made them all to fall into silence.
"It's not important whether she's lying or not. Ihahatid lang natin siya sa Arthmy City gaya ng sabi niya at magpapatuloy tayo sa plano," Ferdy stated with finality after a few seconds.
"While we're on the topic, who wants to switch places? Namamanhid na ang mga binti ko," tunog nagmamakaawa na sabi ni Baron dahil kanina pa siya nagmamaneho.
Nang tumigil ang sasakyan sa tabi ng daan ay nagpanggap ako na nagising. Honestly, it's dumb of them to think I actually slept.
Si Ferdy na ang nasa manibela habang katabi ko naman sina Dru at Carrie. Drim and Baron are both seated on the front seat. Earl, the guy at the back, was still in deep slumber. Kailan kaya magigising ang isang iyon.
Nagsimula na ulit kami umandar at nagsimula na rin ang pangungulit sa akin ni Dru. Panay ang tanong kung tumakas ba talaga ako sa amin dahil ipapakasal ako ng mga magulang ko sa lalaking hindi ko mahal. Masyado yata na-expose ang taong 'to sa mga cliché movie.
