Silence evolve around the courtyard as Eden stares at me in shock. The Commanders eyeing him in shock.

"How did you...?" His voice comes as a stutter and I shake my head.

"I remember you... you really remind me of my mother's butler,Yes. I had doubts about you... now I understand Why I was scared to trust you...You betrayed death itself." A small smile plays on my lips, my eyes pitying on him.

"You were once with the government?!" Hongjoong snaps and I grab his arm before he could snap something else.

"He was against the government!" I shout at Captain. My voice louder than expected.

"My...mother... she died because she was planning on going against the government... he killed...no..he executed her because he thought of her as a traitor to God." My nails clench on Captain's sleeves as I shake.

"You...gathered us because you knew we'll be perfect for your plan...yes?" Hongjoong glares at Eden, snapping him out of his trance as he shakes his head vigorously.

"No! I merely found you by coincidence! I didn't even know there would be a kid around this place, stalking for food..." Eden wryly says and turns to me.

"And you... I called you here...You know that..." He smiles softly and I nod.

"I knew by your voice..." I trail off and turn to Seonghwa, who seemed in a trance. Still trying to process everything.

"So... even my father was against-"

"San's Mother was a faithful maid and Hongjoong's mother was also involved even though she was just a cousin. Yes... everyone's parents and siblings were totured...even the rest of the commanders..." Eden reveals the truth to the three available commanders as all of them face the ground and remember some moments with their family.

"We don't have much time!" Booms a deep yet feminine voice, as people gather around a table, writing on white sheets visible to all.

"Madam! We need to do something otherwise we'll be caught!" Says a male voice.

"Halt Cousin sister and Park. He won't be back until midnight, we can make preparations." Says Mrs.(L/n).

"Then we shall start now." Everyone turns to the owner of the calm voice and a sly smirk plays on his lips.

"But Kang sir," Mrs.Kim speaks but is soon interrupted.

"I think he's right, Jung sir, we shall begin. What do you say?Lady?" Eden says and everyone agrees.

"Gather the children." She announces and everyonelooks at her in confusion.

"All of them?!" Screams Sir Park.

"The elder ones... Choi sir and Song sir are willing to sacrifice their children." Eden lowers his head guiltily.

"If not us... then surely our children will." Sir Kang proudly says and walks towards the door.

"What are you waiting for? We know what to do."he slyly says and all of them smile as they nod.

"You dare defy me, Witch!" The sound of whip against the flesh rings and everyone in that room get frightened.

"You rebels! How dare you even think of going against God!" Another sound rings as the people get a chill down their spine.

"If you are gonna kill me, then do it like a man!" Mrs.(L/n) provokes him with a smirk. His anger doubles as he grabs her chin and slams her into the nearest thing.

The wood cracks a bit at the impact as blood trails down her face.

"(L/n) JaeHwan! If we failed so what?! I will curse you that you will go down as soon as our young ones grow up!" She bores holes into JaeHwan's eyes and she sees a hint of fear in his eyes.

"Are these your last words?" He says through gritted teeth.

"(Y/n) will destroy you!" She declares and smiles. In a moment, he takes his sword and slits her neck open.

"Go on, what will you do now?" Eden says with teary eyes as he struggles to undo the ropes.

"How dare you try to kill my wife?!" He grits and turns to face Eden eye to eye.

"You have murdered my wife. You deserve to be punished." He grabs Eden by the chin and calls the guards.

"Execute all of them! Make sure they don't get to see anything, they might curse others. As for their young ones, capture them."

Fear.

Fear and anxiety took over JaeHwan as he remembered his wife's last words
