5 minutes later the manager picked them up. Most of the boys were still teary-eyed since they didn't know what is with Pete right now. They didn't have any idea how much of a bad state the Australian boy was in.

While the members hurried to their members' hospital room the doctors were all doing their best to save the young boy. The whole of NCT was running to Petes' room. They were anxious about his wellbeing. When they finally reached the door they were stopped by a nurse.

"I'm sorry but I can't let you in. There's a surgery happening at the moment," informed them the nurse with a sweet tone.

"At least can you tell us if he's going to make it?" asked Taeyong with worry evident in his voice.

"He lost a lot of blood but he's fighting for his life. The doctors are doing everything they can," she explained it to the boys.

When she told them all the information she hurried back to the room to see how she can help in there. The members sat down and waited.

Through the surgery, everyone could feel that Pete was holding on to life and that made them work harder. It was seen that the young Australian boy was fighting but also struggling. After several hours the rush and the panicking stopped and it was all for one reason.

The rest of NCT was waiting for a very long time when a nurse came out. They all stood up at the same time and went on with asking questions.

"Did he make it?"

"Is he going to be okay?"

"Can we see him?"

"We're happy to inform you that he made it but he's asleep right now so you can't go in. He will have to stay for some time but he will get better. Our nurses will inform you when you can go in." the doctor informed them about everything.

When the members heard the news they all hugged each other. They were the happiest people on earth at the moment. Everyone around them smiled at the moment that was happening in front of them. They sat down with joy on their faces and they all felt like a big weight was lifted off them. They waited until they could see their brother again.

After months of recovery, Pete was able to stand on stage again. Fans could see he was getting better. He always reassures the fans that he's feeling a lot better and he visits the psychiatrist regularly. Anyone could see that life was coming back into him and they were glad. Especially the people closest to him.
