ALYSANNE had dreamed of fire and death at the hands of a dragon. Which, in itself was utterly bizarre. For one moment it was as if she was a being of great terror that was reigning fire down upon those who deserved it. And the very dream haunted her. And it didn't stop. She dreamt of it again and again. The only escape from her own thoughts was being with her family and those of whom she loved. While avoiding the harsh glare that the King couldn't help but send her way.

And perhaps it is this fear which led her to having a sword made for her little sister. For Alys knew Arya was a warrior at heart, much like herself.

It had been made clear, Arya Stark had the wolf's blood. Alys liked to think she did as well.

"Thank you, Nymeria. Septa Mordane says I have to do it again. My things weren't properly folded, she says. Who cares how they're folded?! They're going to get messed up anyway."

Alysanne chuckled, for how could she not? It was all simply Arya.

"It's good you've got help," commented Alys.

"Watch. Nymeria, gloves."

Alysanne snorted in barely concealed amusement as the wolf did nothing but whine. She couldn't say it surprised her, the pups could be quite lazy when they wanted to. Well, Ghost was.

"Impressive," smirked Alys.

"Shut up. Nymeria, gloves!"

Arya merely glared at the wolf which she had claimed as her own. The pup was being ridiculous.

"I have something for you. And it has to be packed very carefully." This was said with a slight smile.

"A present?" Asked Arya.

"Close the door."

Arya raised a brow in question, but she did so anyway. Her sister hardly ever kept anything a secret, but she suspected it was because of her mother. Even she knew her mother's treatment of Alys was wrong.

"This is no toy," much to Arya's excitement she revealed a long thin sword. "Be careful you don't cut yourself."

"It's so skinny."

"So are you. I had the blacksmith make it for you specially. It won't hack a man's head off, but it can poke him full of holes if your quick enough."
