Chapter III

After getting her mission from Darth Vader, Blake along with Agent Adam Taurus and Captain Yang Xiao Long rode on the White Fang and reached the orbit of Vassek 3.

Yang: We've reached Vassek 3. I'm not sure what you two could be looking for. This place is pretty remote. 

Blake: Exactly. Agent Taurus, show me the target. 

Adam: At once, my lord. 

Adam then pulled out a holocommunicator and showed a holoimage of Jedi Master Cin Drallig. Upon seeing the Jedi robes, Yang became curious. 

Yang: You two are hunting Jedi?

Blake: I bring Darth Vader's enemies to justice. And now so do you. What information were you able to get on the target?

Adam: Cin Drallig was a respected Master in the Jedi Order. He was renowned for being one of the greatest swordsman in the Jedi Order while passing his knowledge onto Jedi in training. He was stationed in the Jedi Temple when Order 66 was issued. According to Imperial records, Cin Drallig engaged in a duel with Darth Vader himself. While most Imperial records claim Drallig died in the temple, our spies say otherwise. 

Upon hearing this, Yang was visibly dumbfounded. She knew about Darth Vader's reputation. She heard the stories about how entire armies fell by his Lightsaber. To hear that a Jedi survived Vader was unbelievable. 

Yang: Seriously? Wow. Guess this guy must be pretty powerful. 

Adam: Inquisitors were dispatched to this system to deal with him, but none have returned. 

Yang: So why go through all that hiding? Wouldn't killing Imperial Inquisitors draw too much attention? 

Blake: He wants to be found. This is his endgame. 

Adam: Precisely. If I had to guess, it would be Darth Vader. After all, the Inquisitors follow Vader's word second only to the Emperor himself. 

Yang: So we're basically walking into a trap. How many pilots did you lose before me?

Blake: Seven. 

Yang: Lovely. Anything else I should know before we land? 

Blake: Drallig is holding up in one of General Grievous's old fortresses. If half the stories I heard about General Grievous is true, then his fortress will no doubt have traps set. Captain Xiao Long, once we get near the fortress, I will proceed on foot. Agent Taurus, you will be my eyes in the sky. 

Adam: I will provide any intelligence that I find. 

Blake: Good. Take us down there Captain. 

Yang: Copy. 

Despite her reservations about fighting a Jedi, Yang was relieved that she wasn't ordered o go down there to fight the famed Jedi Master herself. Blake however relished in this opportunity. Meanwhile outside of General Grievous's fortress, Cin Drallig meditates on the Force. 

Drallig: I am one with the Force. The Force is one with me.

As Drallig continues to meditate on he Force, a young Chameleon Faunus girl approached the Jedi Master. Cin Drallig sensed her immediately. 

Drallig: Are you ready for your exercises, young Ilia?

Ilia: Yes Master Drallig. 

With a smile on his face, Drallig got up from his meditative stance and approached the young Ilia. 

Drallig: Very well, my young apprentice. First off.....

Before Drallig could begin his lesson, he and Ilia saw the White Fang flying in the distance. Upon seeing the ship, both realized what it was. 

Ilia: The Empire has found us!

As Drallig saw the ship land near the fortress, Cin Drallig felt a strong Dark Force coming from within the ship. As he felt the Dark presence, Drallig turned to his apprentice.

Drallig: Ilia, go to the hidden valley and wait for my instruction. 

Ilia: What? But maser, we can take this enemy on together! Your hand....

Drallig then looked to his hand. He lost parts of his hand during his duel with Anakin Skywalker on Coruscant during Order 66. His skill with the Lightsaber were limited. Despite this, he remained set on his orders. 

Drallig: No Ilia. You're not ready to face a true Sith Lord. If it's who I think it is, then you are not strong enough to defeat him. You would most surely be killed. 

Ilia didn't want to leave her master by himself. Drallig then placed his hand on her shoulders to comfort her. 

Drallig: We may be among the last of the Jedi Order. While we live, the Order lives. I cannot on good conscience allow you to be captured or killed by the Empire. I will lure our uninvited guest into the inner sanctum of Grievous's lair. I will confront him myself. 

Ilia: But master....

Drallig: Go. Please. 

Ilia soon relented as she packed up her equipment and began exiting the fortress and made her way to the valley as her master instructed. As she was about to enter the valley, Ilia took one look a her master with eyes full of sorrow. She then ran into the mist of the valley. 

Drallig: May the Force be with you, Ilia Amitola. 

After that, Cin Drallig prepared himself for battle.

Drallig: So you've finally come out of hiding, Skywalker? Very well then. I will finish what you started on the Jedi Temple.

Drallig prepared himself physically and emotionally. Despite his handicap, Cin Drallig would confront whoever dared to seek him out without hesitation. Both Blake and Cin Drallig prepared for the inevitable confrontation between one another. While Blake was ready to kill her first Jedi and prove herself to Darth Vader, Cin Drallig was ready to confront the intruder whether it be another Inquisitor or Darth Vader himself.
