It All Changes-Part 2

Yes, that I wanted to go. My dad looked at my mom, and they seemed to have a conversation through their eyes. I had no idea what they would say, but I think I am about to find out. They both turned around looked at me for a few minutes before they finally told me that if I wanted to go they would make it happen. They looked sad though so I asked them what was wrong. My mom said that since my brother was already in the middle of his junior year that they didn't want to make him change schools unless he wanted to. With that being said you would either have to wait and chance not getting the scholarship in about a year and a half or you could go by yourself. I was shocked they would let me go by myself. My dad said they would have to talk to my brother about it first.

That night, I heard my mom and dad in the living room talking. I didn't know what they were talking about, but I could probably guess it was about me. I kept thinking about what was going to happen, but I finally fell asleep. When I got downstairs the next morning the rest of my family was already there. My brother looked confused, and my mom and dad were looking at each other trying to figure something out. They looked up when I came in and sat down. My mom said that they were talking to my brother about what was going on. My brother looked around the table and asked what was going on. My dad said everything we told you is the truth.

My brother looked shocked, but asked, "so we're moving to England now?" "What about school?" "If you want to stay and complete school in the United States then we are going to go ahead and let your sister go to England and we will go when you've finished school." said mom. My brother looked confused but said ok, So it is up to me and what I want to do. My mom said yes. He said ok and that he would like to finish school here and depending on where he went for college and what happens after high school, he would be fine with my parents going after he finished with school. They said ok and that they will call the school and tell them that I will take the scholarship if I still wanted to. I said yes that I still really wanted to go. I would miss everyone, but this is a great opportunity.

They called the school that same morning. They said that I needed to be at the school in the next month so I didn't miss any of the second semesters. I was surprised that I had to be there that early and a little scared that this was happening. The only problem was I had to tell my friends. My mom took me to the barn today so I could tell Amber. When we got there we found Amber in her office. After I told her, she started crying and said she would miss me, but she knew I couldn't pass this up. I hugged her and then she asked when I'm leaving. My mom said that they want me there in a month so I could get settled in before the second semester started. She said that was cool and also asked if I was riding today. I asked my mom if it was ok and she said yes. My mom told me bye and left after she thanked Amber. Amber asked me to ride Infinity for her and I said yes. As I was heading to get Infinity's halter Logan texted me.

Logan-Are you riding today?

Isabelle- Yeah are you?

Logan-Yeah I just got here.

Isabelle- ok well I'm already here so

Logan-See you in a second.

Ugh, how was I going to tell Logan I was moving to England. I didn't want to think about that right now so I grabbed Infinity's halter and got him out of his stall. Logan came in and came over to me. He asked if I was riding Opal today and I told him yes after I finished with Infinity. He said ok well I'm riding Peppercorn for Amber and Harmony afterword. Do you want to take the two of Opal and Harmony on a trail ride through the field? It would be the perfect time to tell him so I said yes, and finished tacking up Infinity. Once we finished riding Infinity and Peppercorn. We tacked up Opal and Harmony and headed to the field after we told Amber we were going.
