Darkness.

That's all that surrounds me.

Silent. Cold. Loneliness.

I feel as if I've been walking for years, trying to find someone, anyone.

"Hello?"

My eyes dart side to side.

That sweet melodic voice I've grown to love.

My feet carry me faster into a running pace. "Hope?" I call out.

"Lena? Where are you?" I hear her shout.

I stop running. "Do you think I know?" I ask, annoyed by her dumb question.

I can practically hear her eye roll. "Post tenebras spero lucem." Suddenly, I see a glowing light.

"I see you!" I scream, I run towards the light, Hopes face behind it. "Hope!" I yell, wrapping my arms around her. Her arms wrap around my waist as we spin around. We pull away from one another, kissing each other softly. "You're here,"

"I am," She laughs soothingly. Before we can continue our bonding, a bright light shines behind us. We turn around, a large gust of wind flying towards us. "Come on!" She yells, pulling me away from the hole. However, the two of us trip, flying backwards.

Until something catches Hopes leg.

The black hole, or white hole, disappears, and we fall to the ground. I groan, my back now aching. "Fancy meeting you here." I look up, seeing my half brother.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Hope snaps, pulling me to my feet.

"Saving your life, obviously." Clarke chuckles.

Hope scoffs. "No. We supposed to be in-in peace. Okay, you are not peace. In fact, you're the opposite of peace." She says. "So, where are we?"

"Come on. Do the math."

I roll my eyes. "Listen here, evil brother of mine," I raise my hand to him. "It's not that simple. First, there are freaky cyclones and blinding lights and lets not forget you're here." I gasp at the realization. "We're in hell, aren't we?" I groan. "God, I didn't mean to eat Landon's cheerios when we were three, I genuinely thought they were mine!"

"No such thing as hell, Scarlet O'Hara." Clarke chuckles. He pauses for a moment."I think." He adds. Clarke smirks at Hope and I. "Go on. Take your best guess."

"No." Hope snaps, pulling me along.

"Why not?"

"Because I'm not gonna give you the satisfaction of telling me that I failed and that I let you shove Lena into hellfire." Hope says to my brother. I bite my lip, listening to her closely.

Clarke follows us, "You mean you don't want to hear you're in the Blackness? That you've been consumed by Malivore?"

I turn to look at him. "No, actually." I snap at him.

"You don't want me to point out that all your romantic heroics were for nada? Your lesbian Romeo and Juliet sacrifice was for nothing? That the big bad lives to see another day and all your friends have forgotten you ever existed?" Clarke teases. He glances at me. "Or that your own twin has forgotten you, his protector."

"Stop talking." Hope warns.

"If I were you, I'd make peace with that."

Hope shakes her head, "Come on, Lena." She growls, pushing past Clarke.

Clarke sighs as we walk away. "Hope. Wait. I can help you."

We turn to look at him. "Really? I don't see how." I snicker.

He walks towards me. "I spent years inside this place, and while you cannonballing into the belly of Malivore didn't seem to destroy him, it has changed things, so stop being a dick to me and maybe I'll elaborate." He says, "Besides, little sis, what else are you gonna do?"

I snarl. "Kick your ass-" Hope grabs my wrist, pulling me to her side.

"Okay. I'm partially listening."

Clarke smirks at my girlfriend. "Every creature consumed by my father used to exist here in total isolation, but here we are, talking to each other." He gestures to all three of us. "Your presence here has somehow opened the cell doors. If it can do that, maybe there's a way for us to escape." He holds his hand out. "So what do you say?" I look down at his hand, and back up at him. "Partners?"

I think of Landon. How I abandoned him, and now I'm stuck with our brother from hell. "Pass." I snap. Hope follows me, walking away from Clark.

"You are such children! No wonder you failed."

"Says the guy whose entire life has been about failing Daddy." I snap, facing him.

Clarke snarls at me, but Hope speaks up. "We don't trust you, okay?" She snaps at him. "And I never will."

"You're the one who brought us into this mess." Clarke argues. "If you'd just come let me meat-puppet my loser siblings, then we wouldn't even be in-"

"Imitantor pupulis." Hope waves her hand, covering her mouth. I turn to Clarke, who does the same thing.

She pulls her hand away, as does he. "Your old friend, the mimic spell." Hope smirks. "You will do anything I intend you to do, and it is my intention that this is the last conversation we will ever have. If I were you, I'd make peace with that." She smirks, turning on her heel. "Come on, Lena,"

Hope grabs my hand, and the two of us start walking away, just as Clarke walks the opposite direction. "Hope. We can work this out." Says Clarke. "Don't do this to me." A bright light appears above our heads. The same bright light with a black hole from before. Hope and I look at the bright light, the wind gusting around us. "Listen to me, whatever this is, it's gonna destroy you. It'll rip you apart." Hope and I grip each others hands tighter. "Please break the spell so I can help you."

Hope mumbles the spell, before falling to her feet. "Hope!" I yell out, grabbing her ankle. Clarke runs over, leaping on to Hope. Sure enough, the hole closes.

The three of us pant heavily. "You're welcome." He says.

Hope turns around, "Oh, crap."

"Not exactly what I was expecting-" Clarke and I look up, seeing a lovely dragon friend. "Oh, crap."

"Run!" I yell out, pulling Hope to her feet and running off, Clarke close behind.
