flower boy [seongsang]

[ begin. ]

yeosang sets to work explaining different poets' concepts and mini biographies, giving the two boys a feel for their options. yeosang narrowed the option list down himself, knowing which poets would be best to do and which wouldn't be picked already.

occasionally during his explanations, he took a brief break to help a customer whenever he heard the bells on the front door ring.

after thirty minutes of weighing their options, hongjoong and seonghwa choose poets. yeosang smiles hopefully at their picks, liking them a lot.

the latter goes to the front counter and pulls two papers out of his bavkpack, bringing them back to the two older boys.

"here you go, guys. i gave these to all of you guys since the research and biography part of the report is the same!"

he watches their eyes scan over their papers, reading the contents.

"it's just something to help you make sure to get all of the i formation you'll need for the paper. i thought it might help to lessen your stress over it," he trails off as he gets embarrassed, worrying that they think he thinks they're stupid or something.

"wow! actually thank you so much for this, yeosang. this actually does lessen the stress of it all," hongjoong exclaims.

"yeah, for sure. seeing it all written out in sections like this makes it not seem so daunting," seonghwa adds, relief showing on his face clearly.

yeosang's chest fills with pride, happy and proud to have helped them in any small way.

"okay, come to the library tomorrow during lunch and i can help all of you boys find books that might help you all at once. okay?"

"yeah, we'll see you there," hongjoong agrees.

"you're sure helping the six of us won't be too much all at once?" seonghwa voices his concern.

"it'll be fine. i'll look up books in the morning and help you guys find them during lunch. it's my job after all, it's all good."

seonghwa gives him a look of concern again.

"really, it's okay. i love being an aid for the library, especially when the books i have to look up involve poetry!" yeosang's eyes lit up during his explanation and his voice picked up at the end due to his excitement.

if seonghwa had thought the younger boy was cuter earlier, he was extremely adorable now.

the two leave at about seven and yeosang sticks around to tend to his plants before locking up early, eager to get home and start thinking of helpful books. his love for poetry and helping others overcoming his love for flowers and his shop.

after he leaves yeosang's cute flower shop, seonghwa drops hongjoong off at his house and then makes his way to his own home. once there, he goes straight upstairs, not daring to greet his father.

his sits on his bed and his thoughts travel back to the cute, blonde flower-shop-owner- library-aid.

"he really is too much, he's so cute?" seonghwa whispers cautiously to himself.

suddenly his phone signals a text message with a ding.
