So, I was having a conversation with one of my favorite co-workers that I've ever had.
We both come from pretty intense backgrounds, and we share similar mindsets and mentalities. We both have a drive within us, pushing for progression. Conversations with this man, are always of high value.
Well, on this particular day, he pulled me to the side to tell me about an opportunity that he's going for that he's nervous excited about. Obviously, it really meant a lot that he wanted to share it with me.
Anyways, the initial focus dies down and we kinda fell into a small talk, though still of value. He then started to talk fun smack about some grey hairs in my beard. We had a good laugh, but then he said something to me that completely blew my mind.
"Embrace the greys, for the kids that didn't make it."

Now, I'm not going to get into this man's background or my own right now, but these words hit me on so many levels all at once that I was shaking.
I don't know if it's a saying. If it is, I've never heard it. But to me, on infinite levels, this was by far one of the most beautiful things that a person has ever told me. I really felt the need to share this here, and I sure hope that you guys can enjoy it.
Much love!
