Sorry about the long wait, I will admit that I lost interest in this book for a while and I had no motivation in continuing writing, but I don't like to leave things unfinished so I managed to start writing on this again. I'm in quarantine so I have lots of time
Marceline
I stood in front of the camp of the strangers. A man approached me with a strange type of weapon.
"Who are you and what do you want?" He asked in a hostile tone."I must talk to your leader," I said firmly.
"What business do you have with her?" He raised a brow.
"I am here to talk about the throne. Send her to me as quickly as possible this is highly important and cannot wait" he hummed and used some type of device that was in his ear to talk to someone.
"She will be here in ten minutes, just wait here," he said.
I nodded and walked back and forth as I waited for the leader to come. I stopped when I saw her walking towards me. Her face was expressionless as she stood in front of me.
The letter was in my pocket so I pulled it out and showed it to her. "You have no right to the throne," I said. Her eyebrow raised slightly as she glanced at me. She read through the rest of the letter.
"I am Marceline by the way" I proudly said after she was done reading the contract. She took the paper out of my hands and crumbled it to a ball and threw it on the ground.
I stood there wanting to punch her right in the face, but I managed to hold my composure. She came closer to my face and spoke "a piece of paper is worth nothing" she turned around and walked away.
"You will hand over the throne to me right now" she stopped and turned around and then walked closer to me again.
"Or what? What are you gonna do if I don't give it to you?"
"Oh, you will see. Let me tell you that you will regret it tremendously if you do not give up the throne right now" I threatened. She managed to hold her composure but I could see in her eyes that she was scared. She felt threatened which was a great advantage for me.
"I'm not scared of you," she said. I huffed. "Ha, your face says something different"
She frowned and stood there starring at me. Was she trying to intimidate me or what? The funny part was that I was taller than her which made her much less intimidating. "Oh, and you seem to recognize me at the funeral. Have you seen me before?" I asked.
"No!" She yelled. That was unexpected. I smirked. "No? You are lying right now. How do you recognize me?" I asked. She turned around and walked off yet again. I ran in front of her and made a portal to my manor and pushed her into the portal. The moment we got in I closed it so no one could follow us. She was on the ground and seemed shocked at what had just happened.
"Lily, come out in your wolf form. We have a...guest" I said in our mind link. Lily came as soon as I spoke to her. Her beautiful snow-white fur could be easily recognized anywhere.
"That wolf, I've seen it before" The woman spoke.
"Oh yes, we know each other very well actually" Lily growled at the woman and walked around her in circles. It was a great boost for Lily's confidence. I did not want her to be an omega anymore, she deserved better than that.
"Get that dog away from me!" She yelled. I only smirked at her pathetic attempt of trying to tell me what do to.
"She is not a dog, she is a wolf." Lily did not stop growling at the woman which was great because she seemed more scared when Lily was growling.
