The Impossible ❌

I sit on the bed in Law's office. Waiting impatiently for him to finish his check-up. "Come Law the surgery was a success. I can move my toes and ankle. I've done the exercises. Let me walk on it already!"

He glares at me, "(Y/N)-ya..."

"I wanna walk without the crutches. And get out of that room." I'm going to jump off this bed in an second.

"You act like a child... I'm done, you're fine to go."

"YES!" I jump off the bed.

Finally, after 5 long years of pain! I can stand on my own two feet and not dread every step I take. Look down at my legs, I don't feel disguised or hate now. My leg is perfect, all thanks to Law.

Law's hand comes into my view as he pushes me back onto the bed. "Look at your childish has done! You've hurt yourself!" He starts to examine my leg.

"What are you going on about? I didn't hurt myself."

He looks up at me, "then why are you crying? You're obviously in pain."

"Crying?" Raise to my hand, feel my face is wet.

"Where do you feel the pain?" He stands up and looks me in the eyes.

"I'm not crying cause I'm in pain. I'm crying cause I'm happy. Its all thanks to you Law." Cup his face kiss him, I rest my forehead on his.

He takes my hands away from his face, turns away. "(Y/N)-ya, don't get the idea that there something going on between us. There never was and never will be." He goes over to his desk and starts writing.

I'll admit in the last couple of weeks, I started to fall for him. But to come out so blunt was rude. "Sorry for showing my appreciation. I felt the words 'thank you Law' wasn't enough." I hop off the bed making my way to the door.

"(Y/N)-ya, wait..." He puts his pen down.

"What?" I turn around.

"Maybe I didn't explain myself clearly. There can't be anything between us, because it's not possible. Love holds no value to me. Love is just a word that people use, cause they feel they need someone in their life. You can't examine love, how do you know it's real?"

"Love just a word? So you're saying I don't love my son?! Is that what you're saying?!"

"(Y/N)-ya, you've got it wrong."

"Really now? I got it wrong. How about you explain it to me since you're so smart and all-knowing!"

"You're blowing this out of proportion."

"No, Law you did! All I was doing was showing my appreciation, and you're the one that took it the wrong way!" As I walk out, I slammed the door shut.

Fucking Mister Know It All... I walk off to the kitchen to start lunch. If only I had bread!

- Time Skip -

I just put Cora-san to bed and was tidying up his drawing from today. He said he was in a drawing mood. So there are sheets of paper everywhere.

"I'm going to have to get a fold for all these." I take the stack of drawing, make my way to the kitchen. And have a look through them.

- Law -

I couldn't stop thinking about what (Y/N)-ya said. Maybe I did take it the wrong, and she has no feelings for me. No, I didn't, I know she thinks she loves me. But we can't be together, what she wants can never happen. I can't do the impossible, nor can I have children. Make my way into the kitchen, find (Y/N)-ya with papers and a cup of coffee.

She looks up from her papers, "sorry I'll leave. Don't want to give you the impression that I'm following you."

"(Y/N)-ya, wait..."

"What? You want to tell me some bull crap. No thanks, I'll take my coffee and go in my room."

"Forget about it..."

"Done," she goes to walk out.

Gawd damnit (Y/N)-ya. "I can't have children."

She stops walking, "pardon?"

"I said -" She cuts me off and places her paperwork and coffee on the bench.

"I know what you said. But why tell me? You think telling me that you can't have kids. Would stop me from loving you? I have Cora-san if I can't have any more kids. So be it, I already have one awesome son. I'm happy with, love isn't always about having a child together. If you can't, people find others. Or decide not too."

"So you admit you love me..."

She rolls her eyes, "I have feelings, a crush whatever 'you' want to call it. But this morning was purely appreciation. That's it, no feelings involved."

"Just know -" She cuts me off again.

"Yeah, I know nothing will happen. What we do it just sex and that's it. Sighs Just cause you can't examine what love is doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I'm going to bed, night." She takes her papers and leaves.

Bloody woman... I notice she left her coffee behind. "(Y/N)-ya, your- Wait (Y/N)-ya doesn't drink black coffee." I look up to the clock. "It's about that time, I normally get a coffee. I didn't think she notice. And it's just made too." I take my coffee and head back to my office.

I rub my eyes, look at the time. It's already 2 o'clock. I better go to bed, make my way back to my room. I got a strange thought, (Y/N)-ya and Cora-san can't both fit on that bed. I shake my head, no if they were uncomfortable they would have said something. (Y/N)-ya would of.

Next thing I know, I find myself at their door... I should turn around and go to bed. Nothing good can come out of this! Nothing! The door swings open, Cora-san in bed. But where's? I see her laying on the ground sleep. (Y/N)-ya... I can't put her in the bed, Cora-san taking up all the room. Blackout I find myself putting (Y/N)-ya in my bed.

There's something wrong with me, I keep blacking out. I'll check myself over in the morning. I change into my trackies climb into bed. I stare up at the ceiling, why am I doing this?

"Bepo-ya stop stealing the cookies! Law-ya hasn't had any yet. It's not bloody bread! It's cookies!"

I could help but chuckle, she sleeps talks. Turn to look at her. "Huh? Where am I? Law? What am I doing in your bed? Wait did we have sex, I didn't know about it?"

"No, I found you asleep on the floor. And Cora-san was taking up the bed."

She yawns, "he does that all the time. Found it better to sleep on the floor." She rolls over to her stomach, looks at me. "So why put me in your bed?"

"I don't know, I blackout..."

She laughs, "you should probably see a doctor about that."

"I am a doctor..." She rolls her eyes.

She turns the other way, "I'm going to sleep. If you can't go to sleep, wake me up."

If I can't sleep hey. Pull her closer to me, put my hand into her knickers. Whisper in her ear, "I can't sleep my little doll. You should fix that." I bite her ear, causing her to moan.

"Yes Captain ~"
