The chapters for this story are a little shorter because I'm not doing Ben and Erica's POV on everything, just important parts.

Ben's POV:

We were all given the day off to test out our gear because we knew there would be a mission to stop Spyder again soon. We all slept until 10, ate breakfast, and headed to go test and get used to our new gear. We went to the shooting range and tested the guns and knives we'd got. I didn't miss one shot. Every bullet hit the same spot, right in the center. My friends all seemed shocked and like they were still trying to process that I could actually shoot now. As long as it was this gun, that is. Even Erica, the best spy ever, was impressed.

"Nice job Ben!" she called from across the range. I blushed.

"Thanks!" While my new gun could aim for me, my knives could not. I was never amazing, but I was okay enough to use them on missions. But now, I was doing pretty badly. I barely hit the target and many of them just completely missed. Erica noticed and walked over. Everyone kept practicing and didn't even seem t notice. I knew they did and Mike even looked over and flashed his signature wolfish grin. I blushed a little and rolled my eyes at him.

"You want some help?" she asked. I grinned. Yes!!!!!

"I would love some. As you can see, I'm missing way more than usual." she laughed and jogged over.

"You aren't doing that bad." she said as she smiled at me.

"Yeah, and I'm Oprah." I joked. She laughed and my heart melted. I love her laugh!

"Okay, you're doing pretty bad, but it's okay. I'll show you some pointers." I grinned wider. She was being really nice and it was kinda scaring me honestly.

"You... uh, feeling okay? You seem... off." I asked. As soon as I did I regretted it. Her smile dropped. Her face fell. "Oh, I'm so, so, so sorry. Erica, I didn't mean it that way. I love how nice and open you're being lately, but I just want to make sure you were feeling okay. I couldn't live with myself if something happened to you and I could have helped. I care about you too much. But I truly didn't mean to hurt you." I pulled her into a hug. She hugged me back and buried her face in my shoulder. She started shaking and I realized she was crying. "Oh my god, Erica? What's wrong? You know you can tell me anything, right? I'm here if you need me to be." She nodded.

"I had a... nightmare last night. You were next to me and you told me you didn't love me and you'd joined SPYDER. You joined them to get info, but joined them for real because of how much I pushed you away. Then I convinced you to come back but Josh shot at us and I woke up after him yelling at us." she said shakily and stuttering. I pulled her closer and rubbed her back.

"So you thought it might happen and decided to be less distant and let the people you cared about in." I finished. She nodded. "Meaning I'm one of those people." I finished. She blushed.

"Well... yeah. Of course I care about you. You're nice, sweet, caring, and always there for me. You constantly try to be there and no matter how much I pushed you away, you came right back and tried again every time. You saved my life numerous times and let me be a normal teenager now and then. Thank you."

"Of course. I'd keep coming back for you any and every day. And while I've saved your life a few times, you've saved mine countless times. I care about you so much and I know that I won't betray you. No matter how much you push me away, I'll come back because I...love you." I blushed. She lifted her head up and gave a small smile. I wiped her tears with my thumb and she blushed a little.
