September 23rdBen's POV:
I woke up and realized it was 8:30. I looked around me and saw that my computer was off but still open. I saw my leds still on and I was still in my bed.I must have fallen-. My thought was interrupted by something me to me moving. What the- oh. I'm dumb. It's Erica. We fell asleep last night while we were watching the movie. Duh.
I looked at Erica and smiled when I saw her sleeping so peacefully with her arms around me. Her head was against mine and she was mumbling in her sleep. She started to shake and turn. I realized she was having a nightmare and tried to wake her up.
"No... please don't take him from me." I shook her awake and she shot up. "Ben?"
"Yeah, what's up?" I asked with concern. "Was it another nightmare? I really wish you'd tell someone else too."
"Yeah, it was. But I really don't want to tell someone now. Not yet. Please." she said.
"Ughhh. Fine. But tell me everything. Now. I need to make sure at least on person besides you knows. So if you won't tell someone else, tell me." She nodded.
"Okay."
Erica's POV:
I was in a room. It was dark but I saw that it had white walls, a white ceiling, and a white floor. I saw a tinted window on one wall.Someone is watching me. Why?
I pretended I hadn't seen. I tried to get up when I realized by hands were handcuffed together. I easily got them off, but I still felt uneasy.
Why am I here and more importantly, where am I?
It was then I saw a figure tied to a chair across the room. I walked closer and saw my favorite bright green eyes and golden blonde hair.
Ben.
I ran to him.
"Ben?" No response. "Ben! Wake up!" I shook him and his eyes slowly opened.
"Erica? Where are we?" I hugged him tightly.
"I... don't know. I'm trying but I just woke up and saw you. I haven't done anything besides get you up. But I'm trying." I leaned in and started to whisper. "I also saw a tinted window on the wall. We're being watched." his eyes widened. He nodded and I helped him get up and saw he'd been shot in the chest. "Oh my god, Ben! Are you okay?" he looked confused and didn't answer. "You got shot in the chest. Take off your shirt so I can treat it." he nodded and took it off. "Lay down." Once again, he listened.
I took out the tools I'd need from my utility belt. Bullet extractor, bandages, alcohol, towels, etc. I prepared the tools and took a deep breath.
"Wait, why towels?" I grimaced.
"One for you to bite on, one to clean the wound." his expression changed.
"Why... is there one to bite on?" I recognized the expression. Fear.
"I'm gonna be honest, this is gonna hurt like hell. But leaving it untreated could cause infection. I'm sorry, but I have to take it out." he nodded but I could tell he was still scared. I got him all cleaned up when someone I hated more than anyone walked in with an evil smirk.
Joshua Hallal.
"I'm baaack." He said in a sing-song voice. "Miss me?"
"Never in a billion years traitor!" I screamed.
"Tsk tsk. Now, now Erica, I would watch it. It's just a calm conversation. It;s not like I did something like this." He turned and shot Ben twice.
He cried out in pain. "Ben! No!"
My heart exploded and I wanted to kill Joshua. Ben fell to the floor and blood pooled around him. Tears flooded my vision as I tended to his wounds, desperate to keep him alive. I'd just finished when Joshua walked over. He smiled his evil smile.
"Say bye bye." He said with his annoying sing-song voice.
"No... please don't take him from me." I felt like I was being shaken and held by a thread over an abyss.
I realized I was being shaken.
"Erica? Erica? Erica! Wake up!" I shot up.
"Ben?" I looked up to see him lying next to me and hugging me.
WAIT. Why was he- oh yeah! Date night! DUH!
"Yeah, what's up?" He asked, concerned. "Was it another nightmare? I really wish you'd tell someone else too."
"Yeah, it was. But I really don't want to tell someone now. Not yet. Please." I begged.
"Ughhh. Fine. But tell me everything. Now. I need to make sure at least on person besides you knows. So if you won't tell someone else, tell me." I nodded.
"Okay." I told him the story and he looked worried and scared. Which was exactly how I felt.
Ben's POV:
She told me about the nightmare and I just listened with growing worry and concern and fear. This is bad. Really bad.
Hope it wasn't too bad. Now here's something no one here's ever heard me say. I'm tired and going to bed, gn y'all. Lol actually tho, good night.
