The flowers on the cafe makes the space look like is out of a fairy tale.
Donghun grabs the last bouquet and sets it on a table close by
Soon it will time to go home, tomorrow they'll open once again for business and they were just adding the last details
"Ok everyone this places does look amazing...great job!", Donghun says with a cheerful smile and the others starts to clap after the announcement
"Is really pretty hyung!" Yuchan says with his usual bright smile
"You really know your stuff!" Byeongkwan says and soon the young boys get ready to leave the place, "Were going to grab some food, along Sehyoon and Somin, want to tag along?" he asks the couple that are now standing behind the counter
"Is fine Byeongkwan, thank you..... we'll pass", Donghun replies before Jun could comment
"Fine, but we need to hang out outside of this place", Byeongkwan says and soon the boys leave to go to their double date
Donghun feels his heart racing, he feels like he wants to run away. But also he wants to stay and embrace the man that is now standing besides him. He wants to say what's being bothering him.
"Hyung, is everything alright?" Junhee's voice awakes him and soon Donghun meets his eyes. Those cute dark eyes that he had stared at for so long.
He walks over to one of the tables with the most flowers, and takes a seat. Jun takes a seat besides him
"Do you remember the first time we met?", Donghun asks as he looks at the purple flower arrangement in the right side, "You almost got ran over by a guy in a bike, you were too scare and wanted to buy him lunch as a make up for YOU almost getting hurt", Donghun remembers how his heart skip a beat the moment he saw Junhee standing there outside his cafe
"And you saved me hyung...and I was hired to work here", Junhee moves his hand and grabs his boyfriend's, "That day my life change completely because I met you, my love", and with this statement a single tear falls from Donghun's eye
That shocks Junhee, since Donghun even with his sad eyes, barely cries.
"What happened to us Junhee...?", Donghun asks and he feels his heart aching
"I've been distant, I know hyung but I'll make it up to us.... I'm sorry but it has being hard", Junhee knows too well that this conversation needed to happen.
"He's still in your life right?", Donghun asks but already knowing the answer, and Jun can only nod. Donghun wipes away the tears and Jun grabs his hands a bit tighter
"He says he misses me and is hurting, my tattoo had being reacting to this and at times...it hurts....so I promise to stay in contact but....",
And Donghun knows he's being selfish.
His own desire to keep Junhee by his side didn't let him see that the other was hurting also. That both trying to go against the obvious was much harder and that Jun....
Jun.
Needed to be with his soulmate.
"Can you be honest with me Junhee", and Donghun moves closer to Jun, their knees touching, their faces just centimeters away
"Always", Jun replies
"Is he in your heart once again?", Donghun asks and Junhee's eyes are now fill with tears and they fall when he replies
".... I don't know" and is all Donghun needs to hear to know better.
That he truly love Jun.
That every second they spent together meant everything to him.
That Junhee had being the first one to make him special, love and happy.
Truly Happy.
"I'm the one that is curse Junhee, I'm the one that will remember, I'm the one that will keep this love for you....so you don't have to anymore", the pain when he says this is beyond what he thought would be possible to feel
Junhee starts to shake his head in disbelief as he repeats the same words
"No stop. No. No....", Junhee knows where this conversation is going
"We can't keep denying the inevitable, I'm not your soulmate, both will only keep hurting if you're apart.... I'm only in the way Junhee.... please don't make it harder....", Donghun eyes become blurry with the hot tears coming down
"We can make it work...Hyung I love you, please.... I'll sort out my mind....",Jun tries to think of something to make this not go to the end. He must.
But.
Is too late now.
"I'll be fine Junhee....", and just then Junhee pulls him and they stay on each other's arms for a long time. Jun's arms go over Donghun's shoulder as the other grabs his waist.
If they could freeze time they would.
Neither wants to hurt the other one.
Donghun wants him to be happy, even if it means being with someone else
Junhee doesn't want to hurt him, by his confuse mind is just not fair for Donghun....
"Let's break up Junhee", Donghun voice breaks and this only makes them hold one another tighter
Knowing that once they break away. It will be the end.
The ache in his heart only became worse
"I don't think I'll be strong enough to face you....so I'll quit also hyung, I'm sorry.... I'm sorry", Jun whispers
And Donghun already knew this will come to be so he can reply, "I'm sorry also ....."
When they break away. Donghun catches a familiar face outside of the cafe
"He's here Junhee", and Jun turns around to see Minjae standing outside the cafe. He did promise to come back eventually. To which Jun can only nod, his body reacting to the sight of him but his heart aching for not wanting to leave his hyung, "Go Junhee.... promise me you'll be so damn happy and that you'll be okay", Donghun tells his favorite boy
"I never deserve you hyung...." Junhee replies as he gives him a peck on his lips.
And just like the sunny day when he came unexpectedly into his life.
On this cold night Junhee walked out of it.
When Junhee is out of sight
Donghun falls to the ground, the bitterness and sadness of losing to fate taking a toll on him
"I'll just become ..... someone you loved", he whispers into the empty space as reality becomes more real that Junhee is gone.
He's alone once again.
