Hello! This is just a short introduction to this book. I created this as a way to compile all of the self help tips and tricks that I find as a way to deal with mental illness/troubles with neurodiversities. This is in no way fool-proof and everything should be taken with a grain of salt. What works for me or you may not work for other people.
Feel free to suggest anything you want! I'll accept tips, tricks, and techniques, so long as they're not destructive.
Additionally, it should be said that I am against self injury as a coping mechanism. This includes c*****g, burning, alcohol abuse, smoking, drugs, etc. These are not useful and only serve to make your mental illness(es) worse. I am also against repression, as repression tends to lead to an unhealthy buildup of negative emotions.
It should also be said that I am not an expert. I am a 15-year-old kid who has nothing better to do with their time. I want to help people, and I hope that with this guide, you can find some coping mechanisms.
That being said, welcome to my self care guide!
-Patton
