//Sam's POV//
"Have you seen this?" Blaire asks, handing me a magazine while she takes a sip of her chocolate milkshake.
On the front are the boys, who are rumored to be shooting a new music video here in Los Angeles in a few days. Without another word, I scan the article on them and quickly pass it to Delilah. I point at the paragraph and tell her to read it aloud.
"Luke himself said that Los Angeles was were dreams started. The seventeen year old, soon to be eighteen, is seeking a truthful place to film for their new single, Amnesia." Delilah reads in a monotone voice. Word after word, I start to grimace at the thought of him.
"He does know you're living here now, right?" Blaire asks, mindlessly eating her fries.
I nod, unable to take another bite of my burger. Infact, Luke knows exactly where I'm attending college and what career I'm aiming for. A writer.
I bite my lip, "Keep on reading."
Delilah continues, "After filming their music video, the boys will also be perfoming a concert in L.A. as well as theupcoming music awards on Sunday."
"They'll be in town for about a week." I sigh, counting the days in my head. I'm not sure if they'll be staying an extra day for Luke's birthday, but I highly doubt it.
The two look at me with utter despair. Delilah tries rubbing my back but I flinch from the pain. Everything they try to do to comfort me, it only brings me discomfort. I see that their plates are almost empty so I take the liberty of leaving the money and tip on the table. Afterwards, I leave the booth and walk out the door without waiting for them. By the time they're outside and by my car I remind them about one thing.
"He was the one that left me when I needed him most. Just think about that." I exclaim, unlocking the driver's seat.
... ~the next day~
//Luke's POV//
Today wasn't any better than yesterday and the days before.
After the concert, the boys and I headed to a house party with the One Direction lads. Harry supposedly has some friends in the area, so he invited us to come before we head off to Los Angeles tomorrow.
None of us are in the party mood tonight but Ashton accepted the invite. So here I am, drinking a beer, looking around the house. It's scary how the exterior looked like that same mansion I met Sam at.
The party's like any other party filled with horny teenagers. Niall's in the kitchen doing shot after shot with Harry. Louis' in the corner with Ashton joking around with a crowd. Calum's with Liam, staying sober as possible. Zayn's nowhere to be seen but I know for a fact he's somewhere with Perrie. And well.. Michael's busy making out with some random girl who's definitely out of his league.
I hate watching him do that everywhere we go. He'll just suddenly grab a girl and begin kissing her. What's worse is that they don't object, instead they kiss back. This isn't fair to Blaire. She deserves to still feel loved by him. It makes her sick attempt at suicide seem irrelevant in his eyes.
Instead of doing something, I take another swig at my beer and walk to the kitchen. Niall greets me with a slurred "Hello" and hands me a shot of vodka. He pours himself a shot too and raises it up for a toast.
"To women." he chuckles in his heavy accent.
"To women."

//Sam's POV//
"I can't believe you actually got tickets." I mutter, getting dinner ready in the kitchen.
Delilah flashes three tickets for their concert. The words, "front row" are printed in big red letters on the top.
"I got these for you. Besides you guys need some talking to do." She says from the living room.
We thought the dorms at UCLA weren't as spacious as expected, so we decided to rent an apartment. We're still in search for jobs but thank to my mom we've got this whole month payed off. The apartment itself isn't too bad. Kitchen, three bedrooms, living room, and two bathrooms. We don't have to worry with those campus showers back in the school.
"For me? Oh really Delilah? Even I know you just wanted to see Calum." I mumble.
She takes a deep breath, "Even if that was true, don't you want to see how they've been? I don't know about you, but I'm dying to see them perform in a bigger crowd."
I pause and have one of those episodes filled with flashbacks. I remember being that girl next door, listening to them sing in Luke's house. It all seemed like it was just last night I met Luke and went on that night drive home.
"Fine, we're going." I groan, causing Delilah to shriek with joy from the other room.
A concert seems fun.. I'll just be another screaming girl in the audience watching four idiots perform.
