No perspective
Aven Brooks was caught at a crossroads, barely lucid to be able to see straight as she pushed through the sweaty swaying bodies of the dance floor. She couldn't see a single thing clearly as the date rape drug entered her bloodstream from a bartender that had bad intentions with her like everyone else. She thrashed and tripped through the bodies who moved to the melody, no one having the slightest clue how much danger this innocent girl was truly in.
She was so scared, but her mind was too numb to get her where she wanted. She had no clue if she was even going in the right direction—scared for her thirty seconds to be up and Harry to already start his manhunt.
Harry Styles, a man with a harsh drive awaited his thirty seconds to end. Because although he was cruel, he respected fair rules. He waited calmly and patiently for her thirty seconds head start to finish, because even though it would set him back—he knew he would find her in a heartbeat. She was no match to him, drugged up or not. He lit a cigarette while waiting, sticking it between his teeth and igniting it with his lighter. The minute he got the first drag, he started walking towards the direction she jetted to.
Aven still tried to find her way out, her mind fogged of every instinct. She didn't have long until the drug knocked her out completely. The iridescent strobe lights flashed different colours on the packed dance floor, she was sweating just as much as everyone around her. The room was spinning in her blue eyes as she felt like this was a nightmare she had where she couldn't escape to the exit no matter how hard she tried.
She saw the red glowing hallway that lead to the front entrance, trying her hardest to make it to it but everything felt so hard to accomplish.
Harry on the other hand, started breezing through the swaying bodies on the dance floor, cigarette sitting peaceful between his cherry lips. He walked calmly though the crowd, making way more progress then Aven's drunk run. He never ran for anything, especially when he was on a hunt.
It was more fun for him to walk when chasing someone.
Aven finally stumbled to the empty hallway that felt a lot longer to her distorted vision then earlier in the night. All she could see was red lights and graffiti up the black walls. The exit felt like miles away to the outdoors. She stumbled back and forth to each parallel wall, loosing the feeling in her legs slowly. She wanted to scream for help but realization hit that she could no longer form a word.
The drug was hitting her.
She couldn't speak, she could barely walk. Tiredness was slowly taking over her body but she fought it with everything she had. Her head turned backwards, seeing Harry not far behind her and just simply entering the hallway she worked so hard to get into.
All she could hear was her heavy breathing and the sounds of her heart pumping. She turned her head forward again and kept going, not even being aware if her feet were moving fast or not. Her hands kept tracing up the walls she was bashing into, legs slowly turning to jelly.
She tried to scream again, but nothing came out.
Harry walked slowly while watching her stumble against each dirty wall, her long blonde hair cascading down her back as she was drowned in red light. He had no urgency in his pace at all, he knew there was no way she'd escape him. He exhaled smoke as he walked, her head turning back again to meet his eyes.
Aven finally got to the end, the cool air hitting her as she saw a spinning image of the hotel across the road. She stumbled out into the street, her eyes falling so heavy but she had to fight it. Her whole anatomy felt like a distant dream to her mind, her lungs full of air that consisted of nothing but adrenaline. Fear was the only thing keeping her up, if not she would've passed out already. The minute she stops moving, she'll be gone.
