My alarm clock rings and I jump out of bed.

I hop in the shower and throw on some clothes, feeling excited to talk to Shane again today.

I get in my car and get some Chick-fil-A for me and Drew. I pick him up at exactly six o'clock and we rush to school.

We walk into the building and Drew goes to find Trish. While he's doing that, I scan the school for Shane.

I check everywhere for the auburn haired boy, but can't find him and eventually give up.

Drew doesn't come back so I assume he found Trish and is walking to class.

I shrug it of and start walking to class myself.

As I'm walking, I see a boy being pinned up against a wall.

"Oh, so you think you can just look like that and not get bullied. You fatass!" a guy yells, refusing to swing at the boy, screaming and insulting him instead.

Then, the bully fake swings at him, to make him flinch.

I hear the boy whimper, and he's obviously shaking.

"Oh your pathetic! Do I scare you?" he yells at him, while fiercely holding him against the wall.

I debate on jumping in myself, or alerting a teacher.

I try to see who the boy is but can't get a clear view.

"Are you gonna talk or are you just gonna take this beating like the coward you are?" The bully screams at him.

At this point, I'd had enough.

"Leave him the fuck alone!" I yell, putting myself between him and the bully.

"Oh, has your boyfriend came to your rescue?" He mocks.

"Listen loser, and listen good. I'll make you a hell of a deal. You help me, and I won't beat your ass." He offers me, trying to act as intimidating as possible.

I hear the boy sigh lightly behind me, probably thinking I was gonna join sides with the bully.

"You know, that is a really flattering offer, but I'll have to decline. I'm a senior so even if you want to be an ass to me all year, it's temporary. But your a hell of a deal maker!" I mock, smirking to annoy him.

"Give me one good reason I shouldn't bash your head in right here and now." He says getting up in my face.

Feeling confident, I walk closer to him, putting the bully a good eight feet away from the boy.

"Because your all bark no bite. Because you know if you so much as touch me, I'll make your life a living hell. Because you know, I'm not the one to mess with." I say, and suddenly, the bell rings.

"Now excuse me while me and this boy go to class. Thank you for this wonderful preformence, it was splendid. We really hope to do it again soon." I mock, really testing my luck.

He balls his fist, but stays silent, and walks away with a defeated look on his face.

"Thank you." The boy mutters shyly, and I turn to look at him.

I was shocked to say the least that the person I had just blindly defended was no other than, Shane.

"Oh my fucking god! Hi Shane." I say scratching my head nervously, slightly embarrassed he saw me at my most aggressive like that.

He had his mouth wide open, struggling to talk.

"U-um, h-hi." He stutters out, seeming slightly embarrassed I just watched him get bullied.
