Seeing the parents

Ruby and Team JNPR were currently following a path to the next village.

Ruby: So what are we doing today?

Jaune: Walking...

Ruby: With a side of?

Ren: Walking...

Ruby: Ugh... I was not expecting this to take so long.

Everyone stops.

Pyrrha: Uh, Ruby? How long did you think this was gonna take?

Ruby: Uh maybe two weeks...

Jaune: Two weeks?!

Ruby: Okay fine Three! I'm just not used to wandering around...

Pyrrha: I see what you mean. I don't think any of us are used to this type of thing.

Ruby: You know what I remembered...

Pyrrha: What?

Ruby: Goji used to tell me stories when I was a kid, about when he and his mom were nomads and how they would wander remnant, his mom would do her job as a huntress, while Goji would follow her.

Jaune: Isn't that dangerous?

Pyrrha: I think you've forgotten my boyfriend could transform into a giant monster that absorbs and eats dust for breakfast.

Nora: Yeah! Remember when he stayed with us one night and he asked for dust toppings on the pancake Ren made him!

Ren: That was certainly the most interesting meal I've made for anyone.

Jaune: Didn't nora try to eat one of his one of his panc-

Nora: We don't talk about that Jaune!!

Jaune: SORRY!!!

On the patch, Yang was sitting in her bed again, looking at a picture by her bedside. She grabbed the picture, and stared at it. A tear drop hit the picture frame, showing Yang was crying. Tai walks past the door and hears her softly crying. He slowly opens the door to catch Yang crying while hugging a certain photo.

Tai: Yang... Listen, I know you miss him... but he wouldn't like you to be like this...

Yang: YOU CAN'T TELL ME THAT!!!

Yang's eyes flashed red as she yelled at her father, who was rightfully taken back by her outburst. He sighed and scratched the back of his head.Summer then poked her head through the door frame as she heard yelling.

Summer: What's going on?

Tai points at Yang who was still holding the picture frame.

Summer: Yang...

Yang: ...You don't get to tell me that...because what if it was my fault he lost?

Summer: Hon, what are you talking about?

Yang: ... During the battle I lost an arm.

She lifts her right arm.

Yang: A man named Adam cut it off and I blacked out. But then, Gojira transferred enough of his cells to me to make me have his regeneration.

Tai: But Yang-

Yang: I'm not done; it got me thinking, what If he lost because of me? He used up a lot of energy to keep me alive, to heal me. He was exhausted because of his battle with his mom, then he used his remaining energy to heal me. But he still tries to fight. From healing me he was destined to lose.
