Resurface Vol 4-7 (Godzilla x RWBY)

The coming storm

In the streets of Mistral, Mo was cooking dinner for her son Barra. 

Barra: Mom? Where did Maria go again?

Mo: She's going to Argus… for a school project.

Barra: Oh. Who was that boy she was with? Is he gonna be my brother in law?

Mo: Well, yes I guess in a way.

Barra: That's so cool! I'm going to have a big brother!

Mo giggles a bit as she finishes making her pasta. She gave her son a serving of pasta and salad, and was about to serve herself before there was a knock on her door.

Mo: I'll get that. *as she turns* and eat your broccoli for Oum's sake.

As she heads to the door, she could hear her son complain, making her smile a bit. She went over to the door and opened it revealing a girl in a red dress and gold accents on it, as she also had short raven colored hair. And behind her was a short girl in a suit with pink and brown hair.

Mo: Can I help you?

???: Yes, I was told you know where the following people are. Team RWBY, JNPR, and GAMM?

Mo squints her eyes, and puts a hand behind the door, slowly materializing her weapon.

Mo: Really? Well this is the first I've heard of them.

???: There's no need to lie. I'm actually one of Goji's girlfriends. Look this should prove it. 

The women takes off her necklace that is in the shape of an arrow head and hands it to Mo. 

Mo: A Godzilla scale? And it has a good amount of energy in it? Hmm… this really must be Gojira's then, I could sense his energy just by holding this. *hands it back* And who's she?

The smaller girl takes out her scroll, and types something before showing it to the mothra faunus.

???2: "My name is Neopolitan, I'm an old friend of Gojira too, i was one of Ozpin's spies before the fall."

Mo: Alright.

She opens the door allowing the two to come in.

Mo: *sigh* Why don't we discuss this over dinner.

A snow storm appears at Brunswick Farms, making visibility difficult. A wind howling is heard.

Ruby: *sighs* I don't get it. The empty towns I've passed through were all damaged or unfinished. But this place looks... fine.

Gojira: That's kinda what's so worrying… what happened here?

Team RWBY, Gojira, Qrow, Oscar, and Maria arrive at the porch of a residence. Weiss is shivering as she wraps her arms around her to keep herself warm.

Weiss: Maybe everyone left in a hurry. Before things took a turn?

Qrow tries to open the door, only to notice it was locked.

Qrow: Hmm. Stay on guard.

Qrow kicks the door open, everyone proceeds forward with their weapons drawn. They cautiously look around the place.

Maria: Close the door already! It's cold enough in here as it is.

Maria walks into the house. Afterwards, Gojira and Oscar push a nearby drawer to block the door.

Blake: I saw a chimney from the outside. Maybe we could get a fire going?

Weiss: Please. I'll look for some blankets.
