This is my last rant on Ferguson most likely. I feel strongly on this topic.
I am not saying the burning of buildings and looting of stores in Ferguson is okay, but I can't truthfully say if I was living in Ferguson I wouldn't participate in it.
Ferguson's residents are pissed with Ferguson, and this is their way of showing it, I get that.
Ferguson's police officers have been nothing but assholes forever, and I'm happy people have started to notice since Brown's death.
If anything I'd be 100% with everyone in tipping police cars and burning police building things, but that's as far as I'd go.
Breaking into businesses people worked hard on and setting them on fire and/or looting them? That's too far.
I get it, fuck Ferguson, Darren Wilson needs to talk a long walk off a short pier, whatever.
But also, police officers did break into innocent people's homes with tear gas and guns, so yeah Ferguson, I feel.
Are all of them fired yet? They really deserve to be.
Anyway, in conclusion, I understand absolutely why Ferguson is doing this, but if you want to still have a home after all the protesting is over, and maybe not spend a while in prison (even though that motherfuck Darren Wilson isn't doing shit) maybe think before you burn?
