Chapter 20: Sacrifice.

Back with Dawn,the young woman was staring into Randall's eye's as she could see his dark,Brown eye's looking back at her's as she couldn't believe what the young man had said to her.

Wait,y-your--! Dawn started to say. Your the..dark,Brown wolf that tried to..attack me when i was a little girl?

He looked away from her eye's and as he did,he felt bad about what he had done to hurt and traumatize this young woman.

Yes,i was the wolf that tried to..attack you when you were..little...But,i have a reason why i did that to you...I didn't want to attack you,i wanted to attack Austin because i was trying to get his gang of wolve's out of my forest,but he didn't listen. He or any of his friend's didn't seem to listen,but all they did was listen to him,and him only. I guess you can say that..Austin was the male alpha in the group and i was too,in my own group.

Dawn stayed quiet and that she was listening to the young man as he turned to look back at her.

I want to apologise and say that i'm sorry that i tried to attack you. That attack wasn't on for you,it was for someone else.

But then,all of a sudden,her eye's wided a bit when she saw that the young man got down on one knee,and that he had his head down as he then looked up at her.

I truly apologise for what i had caused you when you were a little girl. Randall apologised to her. I'm sorry and i hope that maybe one day that you'll..forgive me for what i have done.

She had a concerned look on her face and as she did,he stood up as he was standing right in front of her.

When the two looked at each other,she didn't take his eye's off of him as she looked into his eye's once again.

I can't believe that this young man was the wolf who tried to attack me when i was a little girl,but he explained,and told me he had a reason why. Part of me want's to believe him and part of me doesn't. I remember that day so well and it bring's back that day,that was the day that i met Austin,my first friend,my boss,and now,my lover. Come to think of it,maybe the reason why i was there was because of his animal instinct's or something. After all,animal's don't like it once a human being is in their territory.

What's wrong? Randall asked,looking at her still as well. Your awfully quiet.
