73. Todoroki Tragedy!

The journey felt like he was driving towards his undoing. Shoto would be lying if he wasn't intrigued, on how to piss his abusive dad off more than he already did. Yet he was also annoyed that it was something so important that he had to leave you behind.

Pulling into the large drive, he parked up as a member of staff came out. "Evening, Master Shoto. I'll park your car for you." the man commented as the boy just passed his keys over, nodding and then walking into the house.

One of the butlers was stood waiting for his arrival, and without so much led him into the direction of where his father was waiting. Upon walking into the large, luxurious sitting room, he noticed his brother Natsuo, slouched on one of the arms chairs, a pissed off look at having to be in the presence very clear on his face.

On the sofa, sat his sister looking a little nervous that Natsuo or his dad was going to lose it with each other at any point. However, what surprised him the most was that his mother was sat in the other armchair, looking at the large man nervously.

For years, Shoto couldn't face his mum who was in rehab after snapping about Shoto looking like his father too much. However, over time they'd began to become closer again and she loved you and Midoriya.

Lastly stood there was Enji Todoroki, leaning on the fireplace an annoyed look on his masculine features. His turquoise-blue eyes held something more, that the boy couldn't work out. "About time you joined us Shoto." it was a growl at the guy who was in no mood to play nice with his father.

"Well, I had an emergency that I had to leave in the care of others. So, this better be worth my time." Shoto spat back, not happy he'd left your side to be yelled at for being late. The two glared daggers at one another before a tiny voice spoke out.

"I hope everything is ok Shoto." his mother's sweet voice broke the anger away from the boy and if it wasn't for looking weak in front of his father, he would have ran to his mother hugging her and asking her for advice on how to make you smile again.

That would just have to wait until whatever his father had summoned him for was over. "It's ok, mother. It's good to see you. I hope you're ok." he smiled at the woman with long white hair, she was a beauty but a shell of her former self after the torment that she had been put through at the hands of her husband.

Walking over the woman he gave her a hug, before taking a seat next to his sister who looked even more nervous than she had before. Looking into her eyes, as if to ask if she knew what this was about. The woman shrugged, before shaking her head completely confused by the sudden summoning of their father.

"Right, now you're all here. There is a problem and it's only going to cause trouble for the business and if that Yagi girl would have just stayed put, I think this problem wouldn't have happened." Enji's voice was filled with rage when he mentioned your name for some reason, and Shoto wasn't keen to sit and listen about you being spoken about.

"I don't give a shit what you called here for, but you don't get to talk about my girlfriend that way." When the words left Shoto's lips, he thought it would go well since you were a girl and would be a great wife. However, it had the completely opposite effect as Enji's stare burrowed into Shoto's own.

"What do you mean girlfriend?" Enji was gritting his teeth, sure he'd tried to set the two of you up for years but right now it was the worst thing that could be happening, and now he realised why the backlash had come after all these years.

"I mean we're dating, just like I'm dating Izuku." a smirk plastered itself on the boys' face, at the turmoil on his fathers.

"Shoto, sit down." it was calmer than he'd imagined would ever come out of the man's mouth. The two of his siblings looking onto the show, like it wasn't anything different since the two had been at each other throats for years. Rei, his mother just watched quietly not wanting to speak out, since she knew what was happening.
