159. The bluff!

The sound of gunshots goes off, for a moment your eyes are closed, the orchard is silent around you, before you begin to hear people calling out. The thing is you don't feel any pain, opening your eyes in shock, you see the large silhouette of your father stood in front of you, covering you as he faced down the man that had just pulled the trigger.

"Dad..." a whisper escapes your lips, those you around gasping as your dad turns his head to look back into your eyes, a smile on his face as blood spurts out his mouth. "DADDDD!" screaming out as the man drops to one knee holding his gut, his blue eyes looking at the man holding a gun.

Not caring, you hug your dad as you drop your own gun to try to cover the wound with your hands as the blood gushes out. "It's ok (f/n)...it's just a scratch...I'll.." coughing up some blood, trying to cover his mouth to not get it on you.

With your back to the enemy, your lovers frozen to the spot as they look on in horror at your cries of sorrow. The desperation of trying to stop the bleeding by ripping your dress. Instantly, you freeze at the chilling voice behind you. "It looks like I'll get to end the Yagi line tonight...!" the man laughed as your lovers went to move, to get in the way, your eyes widening in horror as your dad tries to plead to save you, but unable to, through choking on his own blood.

*BANG* the sound of a gunshot echoes between the trees as you cling to your dad who had tried to move you out of the line of fire, but neither of you is hit. Instead, the sound of multiple feet rushing around you breaks the silence.

Looking up, there are police, a man in a sand-coloured trench coat ordering a few people around, then your Gramps stood with a gun pointed to where Alf lay on the floor, the smoke still present from the shot.

Not having time to care about everything else, you quickly lie your dad down "I need to stop the bleeding...it's gonna be ok daddy!" tears from the shock begin to flow before you feel a large hand on your face wiping the tears away.

As you look up to your dad's face, a large smile is still on his lips.

"Sorry your party was ruined," he began coughing, as your lovers came closer to try to comfort you but giving you space with your dad at the same time.

"Shut up! Don't be stupid...you're gonna be ok..." you're cut off by a laughing coming from Alf who'd taken a shot to the stomach and was currently pinned by Enji Todoroki, Shota Aizawa and Keigo.

"Don't worry All Might your little princess will be joining your wife...you see I got her the same way I got your wife...." he laughed maniacally as you saw the look of horror on all those that cared about your faces. The thought that this could be the last time they saw you, all of them began to rush towards you wanting to hug you, the sound of Dabi yelling at the police before he got free and ran towards you just before the others.

The man's arms wrapped around you, "You can't die...I love you...I'll die with you!" he held on, his eyes wide with the horror of losing your forever, but he is shocked when a hand rests on his shoulder.

"Toya...you need to go with the policemen. I think you've caused enough trouble," the timid voice of Rei, his mother stands there, a pained look in her eyes. "You need help, but we will be there for you," as you look up you see the Natsuo and Fuyumi stood there looking at their eldest brother they'd missed. Shoto joins them, not the same comforting look but a pained look just like his brothers at the idea of you dying.

The turquoise eyes you remembered from all those times you missed looked into yours, "I'm sorry...I..." before he could finish you rest your forehead on his.

"I forgive you...but I don't love you Toya...I'm sorry but you broke my heart so much that I'm not sure...please get better..." your hands trembling, before you feel him being pulled off you. That's when you notice when you'd got tackled off your Dad, Midoriya had put pressure on the wound with the help of Momo.

Turning, you looked glanced towards your other lovers, none of them knowing what to say but as you looked around at what had happened. The injuries they had taken and the pained looks in their eyes, something inside of you seemed to click into place. Glancing over, the knowledge of being poisoned you smiled softly.

"I'm glad that you're all ok...that's all I ever wanted..." Bakugou couldn't take it.

"Don't be stupid...you're all that matters to us and you did this without us..." stopping as a hand went to his shoulder, Yo stood there looking angry.

"You're an idiot! We're your boyfriends and girlfriends and now and now..." the word couldn't come out as Mina walked forward.

"We don't want you to go..." tears began to flood from all their eyes, most of them unable to talk at the thought of you being poisoned.

"Well isn't this dramatic...Miss Yagi!" Dr Stein sighed, taking a knee next to your dad who was beginning to fade in and out as the paramedics got him on a stretcher. A confused look crossed everyone's face.

"Doc you heard him...they poisoned her!" Kaminari confused and annoyed at the doctor taking him so lightly.

"Yes, I heard him, and also heard him state it was the same poison as before and unfortunately for Mr O'rone...Miss Yagi is immune from its side-effects. She has been for a very long time, since a year after her mother passed away. See we worked out an antidote and have been giving it not only to Miss Yagi, but you see anyone she and Mr Yagi came into contact," everyone looked confused.

"Let me explain! As far as Alf was aware, we never had a cure for the poison, but he didn't know they had a genius like myself looking into it. Once I worked it out, we made out and leaked that we could never make a cure, and no record was ever made. This way the man would think he was a genius...in true fact he walked straight into our trap," as Stein filled him in, you could hear Alf calling them bastards, but the stress of it all was too much and as you went to stand to go with your dad, your feet went from under you.

If Kirishima wasn't standing close by, you'd have hit the floor but that never happened, "I got you princess...!" was the last thing you heard before your vision went black.

As you were out, your dad was taken into surgery due to the bullet had gone straight through his stomach, practically destroying it. Everyone you loved went to the hospital to get patched up and stayed by your bed hoping for you to wake up. However, for you slept for two days straight and they had to go back to college.

Dabi, Toga and Tomura tried to go berserk, instantly being locked up in rehabilitation centre, feeling they needed medical help whereas the other others were sent straight to prison. As for Alf, he was locked away in a secret, secure facility that hardly anyone knew the location of.

Waking up, your gramps was next to you and in the private room was also your Dad's bed the two men discussing what would happen with the business, since your dad was in no state at the moment. Listening in to their conversation, you kept your eyes closed but sat thinking of what you needed to do.

Images of all those you loved smiling at you, then the memory of them all beat up because you hadn't trusted them to help you to end what was happening. The thought of what you'd been putting them through broke your heart. Tears began to roll down your face, even though your eyes were closed, when your Gramps looked over he knew you were awake but he knew there was nothing that he could say that would help you right now. It was you to decide what you wanted for your future. Shrugging at you, it caught Toshinori's attention and as he looked over, your father knew the same as his father in law.

Whatever decision you would make, was yours along to make and there was nothing they could do to influence what you made.
