153. I Feel Like Crap!

In the hospital, you woke with the most excruciating pain running through your head as if someone were literally trying to chainsaw their way out. The cry of pain woke Yo, who instantly panicked and ran to get the doctor. When they returned, you were sat on the bed throwing your guts up all over yourself. It was not a pretty sight, but Yo refused to leave your side, he knew that if you'd not done what you'd done, then he could have said farewell to his future. The thought alone made him mad beyond belief.

Since he wasn't around you all the time, he'd been getting brief updates from Kaminari and Midoriya on how you were doing. Clearly, the two were sugarcoating just how much trouble Dabi and his crew were actually causing for you. Sure, he had seen Mirio take the hit, but football was a rough sport, but it was extremely clear now that the group was indeed targeting you and those you cared about.

It was a few hours before you eventually calmed, even though you looked a greyer shade from your usual skin tone, your eyes sunk from the tiredness and the pain. Even though all of this, Yo still loved you, no matter how awful you felt or looked right now, he was a man madly in love.

All you wanted to do was get home and sleep, somehow, you'd persuaded Stein to stop your dad from coming to see you. Mostly, you couldn't be dealing with his loud voice and just wanted to sleep the rest of the day away, if not the rest of the year the way you felt. Apparently, if the two things hadn't been mixed and it was a smaller dosage, it was possible that it could have been passed off like a hangover. Of course, that was exactly what they'd been hoping for and then no doubt a random drug test for Ketsubutsu would have happened this week.

After a few more tests, Stein came into the room to see you just staring at the ceiling, clearly, there was more on your mind than what you wanted to admit in front of Yo who'd fallen asleep in the chair next to you, holding your hand.

"Mr Shindo, could you fetch Miss Yagi some water please," tapping the brunette it made him jump but in his tired state, glanced at you before nodding to go get water, or anything that you needed. As soon as he left the room, Dr Stein sat in the chair, but you didn't acknowledge him until he spoke. "What's got you so thoughtful?" glancing at your face, a curious twinkle in his eye.

"Apparently, I have a half-brother ya know," the words left your lips, knowing that you could trust Stein, "Also, Toga tried to kill me again yesterday, my supposed half bro saved my ass, then someone tried to drug my man.." sighing you turned to look at the man, it was clear this was getting to you more than you were letting most people see. "I'm scared that they're gonna kill someone," lifting your hands to your face, "And there is nothing I can do," clenching your hands into balls, it made Stein sit back in the chair.

There was a tense silence for a few moments before the doctor processed all the information he'd been given, "if you get me a DNA sample, I'll do a test. Also, get protection for if you're attacked, alarm, pepper spray, maybe tell them that you're scared they'll get hurt," it was all valid, and you appreciated that Stein would never sugar coat anything for you.

"You're right and I got a sample I think it should be ok," the glazed eyes, the man stood up, placing a comforting hand on your head.

"I'll come by your dorms this evening and pick it up, I'll say I need a blood sample after so long," clearly he'd heard Yo's footsteps coming down the hallway, before the handsome, but tired guy walked.

"One bottle water babe," opening the bottle, he helped you to drink it, your body was still quite feeble at the moment, and lifting things was a pain. "Is she gonna be ok doc?" there was a guilty tone to his voice, you were ill because he'd not saved you but it was him that should have taken the shot not you.

"She is good to go whenever now, of course, she will need more clothes bringing. I'll get yours washed Miss Yagi and bring them when I come to do a blood sample in a few hours. I've written out a prescription to help with the comedown, but it may make you feel a little weary for the next few days. Without another word, the man left walking down the corridor before he made a phone call.
