"You look knackered," smooth carefully incremented words came from the guy sitting in the passenger seat. Glancing at him, then back to the road you nodded taking a deep sigh.

"You could say that...you ok?" there was something about his posture, you couldn't quite put your finger on the way his eyes looked at you figure.

"Meh...same old. What you doin' later wanna come mine grab some food?" that made you turn to look at him a little shocked but as much as you'd love to. You really just wanted to get home and make the call you were dreading so much, plus calling Peter Parker to discuss something. As well as that you were going to create your own social media pages and ask Kami to look over them to see if they weren't too much.

"I would love to...but I have some business calls to do later that I gotta sort before the football season starts. Clean slate and all that shit!" from the way you groaned he could tell you weren't just avoiding spending time with him you did actually have plans.

"No beef...rain check...but I guess since I kinda didn't hold up my end of the bargain for you not joining any teams that I owe ya one," he sounded a little bashful, but confident in his words since he wasn't wrong.

"Ok you're on sleepy cat...I'll let you take me to dinner anywhere you deem fit. I'm trying new places that aren't ya know expensive all the time. Yo took me to a cute café and the girls took me for cheap ramen and the dingiest bar but ya know what. I had so much fun..." your eyes were sparkling the way you talked about your friends and the experiences they'd taken you to.

"If that's the case we could go I dunno crazy golf or bowling? Cheap diner? Maybe cinema?" he'd remembered everything you couldn't usually just go to, people hassled you whenever you went anywhere with your parents. So, all the things he suggested you had at home, but you'd never gone somewhere to do them.

Of course, you'd been to the cinema if there was a red-carpet opening night but not to many, you'd just usually watch them in your cinema at home. All your life you'd tried to avoid a scandal, you went on expensive holidays with Dabi but you always ended up getting hassled.

Pulling up to the training ground you turned to look at Hitoshi the biggest smile on your face, "it sounds amazing! I can't wait we'll have to work it out in my diary but it will be so much fun...I just hope people won't hassle me so I can have fun," sighing he grabbed your hand.

"We'll just tell them to get lost and that you're just like anyone else," his eyes held confidence you'd never seen before, making you beam a huge smile at him.

"Ok, ...you'll be my bodyguard for the day," nodding at your words the two of you got out the car to grab your stuff, before making your way to get changed.

'Damn...can I class it as like a date? What the fuck am I thinkin' she isn't my girlfriend...it's just to say thank you...but the way she smiled at all that stuff' gripping his hair as he sat on a bench, unable to get the way you smiled out of his when you were explaining the new experiences you'd had.

Hitoshi had always seen you like a bright shining star, so far out of his reach that he couldn't even dream of being able to satisfy the needs you had due to your parent's wealth. Of course, his family weren't poor, but they weren't millionaires, whereas your family were billionaires.

'She infuriates me how she just keeps shining brighter and brighter....every time I reach my hand out to touch her...I can't grasp her...why am I so fuckin' pathetic...' standing up he punched the locker before resting his forehead against the cold metal. 'Why do I need her to see me? Why can't I just forget about her again? I want her so bad...she smiles brighter than she ever did when we were kids...but it's not at things I do anymore,' there was a jealous streak running through his mind. The two of you were the oldest friends since you'd met him before Todoroki.
