Classmates Days Part 2

Chapter 94: Rahia, To Avoid the Drama

                 Regardless of what you do, drama is always apparent. I don't understand why, nor do I want to understand it. Sometimes, Maya and Taylor would argue as Whitney tried to calm them down. This doesn't often work out. Whitney and I both then decided to step out of their fight and let them calm down until they were ready to talk to us again.

"Should we just fly away then?" Pop Thorn asked as he floated to my side.

"Maybe" I answered as I rubbed my eyes tiredly.

Drama tends to go on for a very long time. Maybe I should just leave for the day. Well, can I do that? I mean, Nina and the Dreamers do that all the time, but I believe they have permission to do that. I am not sure if I have permission to do that. Also, I do not want to get into trouble. I want to go to college. Well, I don't want to, but I have to. My family would not be too happy about me not getting into college.

"I suggest we should, princess" Virgo said with a bow, "You seem to be distressed and worried. I have researched that a good way to relieve all of this stress you are currently building up"

As for why a maid is here, she is representation of Virgo of the constellation. I happen to be a descendant of the previous wielder of that kind of power, so I happened to share a bond with her. Regardless, she does have a point. I should take a break from all this. I decided to finish my water and then faced the two of them.

"Sure, let's go" I said with s shrug.

Virgo bowed and then waved her hands to make a hole in the ground appear. The three of us jumped down the hole and went down it. Virgo led us through the tunnel and walked down it.

"Where would you like to go, princess?" Virgo asked calmly as she glanced at me.

I pondered on this. I could go anywhere and do anything I want for the time being. However, I cannot just stay there too long. So, it has to be someplace relaxing...

"A beach, and it must be warm" I said as I snapped my fingers in delight.

"Understood, princess" Virgo said as she placed her hand on the wall and transported us to the upper sections of the ground until we were on the surface.

Once we were on the surface, I was in awe. The beach was vast and warm. The weather was just right, and nothing was cold. I took off my shoes and socks. I placed my feet on the warm sand and just sighed in relief. This is so nice.

"Is everything to your liking, princess?" Virgo asked with a calm smile as she stood next to me.

"Oh, yes. Very nice" I confessed as I decided to lay down in the sand.

Pop Thorn squealed in delight as he hopped towards the rushing waves. The waves splashed against the dry sand and damping it down. It is always such a wonderful site to see. Pop Thorn then dived into the water and popped out with a loud yell of relief. I ran towards him and began to splash some water at him.

"Virgo! Come and join us please!" I shouted in delight as I waved towards her.

The pink haired maid seemed very surprised at what I had just said. She then closed her eyes and grinned at me.

"Of course, princess" she said as a small smile appeared on her face.

She took off her shoes and stockings as she went to join us. The three of us splashed each other with water and then ran around in the waves. I jumped on Pop Thorn as he flew above the water and sometimes bounced along with the roaring waves. Virgo left us for a moment to do something really quick.

"Stay still and don't move much, ok?" Pop Thorn said calmly.

I just nodded my head as he gently landed in the water and flowed along with it. I dipped my hand in to feel the cool, calm waves swirl between my fingertips. It felt so nice and relaxing. I closed my eyes to enjoy this calm feeling as we gently rode along the waves.

"That's it, kid" Pop Thorn mumbled calmly, "Everything is going to be ok in the end. Just you wait in see"

I opened my eyes to see him holding a gentle smile as he looked forward. He was right about that.

"Princess! We should get you to shore please!" Virgo called out to us with a wave of her hand.

The two of us looked out into the shore to see Virgo standing at a table with three chairs. Two of the chairs were normal while the third one was a long, white lawn chair. On the table was a few towels and an ice cream Sunday. Pop Thorn carefully flew towards the table. I saw the sky beginning to set as I took my wand out to make bubbles float around us. Pop Thorn and Virgo were in awe at the site of it as Pop Thorn land near the chairs. I hopped off him, and then sat on a chair. There were three spoons in the Sunday. Once we were all seated, we ate the ice cream in delight.

"Virgo, how come you seemed surprised when I ask you to join us?" I asked her after we finished the ice cream.

I tied the towel around my waist to dry off and dust off any sand still held on it. Pop Thorn was devouring the last bit of ice cream as I faced her. Virgo seemed to know I was going to ask the question.

"Well, when I discovered I had a bond with you, I was prepared to be your maid and at your aid no matter what" she said calmly, "However, you've treated me as an equal, a partner. I didn't expect to receive the same treatment. Then, when you called me over to enjoy a wonderful time at the beach, I was stunned. For that brief moment, you reminded me of a very good friend of mine who did what you did"

Through that brief answer, I could tell she had a sad life or something very tragic happened to her. She wasn't too open with the idea of being friendly with others until she met someone who expressed her strong beliefs of being close friends with her. I wonder who that nice, young lady is.

"Hey, Virgo" I said softly as I faced her, "Next time, I want to go to your world and meet your friends there. Can you please take me there?"

Virgo grinned as she answered, "That would be fun. I would love for you to meet my friends. I am sure they would be very happy to meet you as well. Although, I will have to watch over you at times. My friends are basically the Dreamers in a way"

At this, the three of us burst into a fit of laughter at her joke. The sun was setting as the rest of my bubbles popped. It was finally time for us to return to our respective homes and rest up for another day.

"You are here at your school safely, princess" Virgo said as we appeared from the tunnels and arrived at the surface.

Most of the students were used to the weird magic going around, but some of them did look. I gave Pop Thorn a quick hug as he departed. He let out a happy laugh as he disappeared in a burst of bubbles. As for Virgo, I extended my hand out to her. She just smiled as we shook hands.

"Thank you for helping me relax" I said to her with a grin, "You're a great friend"

"You are a great friend to me as well" she replied with a smile of her own, "Thank you"

I gave her a quick hug as she was disappearing. Virgo seemed surprised, but she then hugged me back as she returned to her world in a flash of pink bubbles. I stood there as I grinned. Thank you two for helping me relax through the drama. I just needed a day to relax and be carefree. Thank you.
