After having that chat with Ojiro and Shoda I made my way back to the seating area so I could watch the next event. However, life had a different plan for me. As I was walking down the corridors I heard a booming voice. It wasn't hard to recognise the voice as it belonged to the No.2 hero, Endeavor. I sighed, the only way to get to my destination was to walk by him, which I didn't really fancy at the moment. I sighed again, this time in resignation, I'm just gonna go for it.

I finally reached the corridor where Endeavour resided and apparently Todoroki who was walking in the opposite direction to me. I think they just had a fight judging by the heavy atmosphere. I tried my best not to be noticed by any of them, but of course, I failed. As soon as I reached their field of view they looked at me curiously. I felt even more nervous now, they seemed so angry, and I didn't want them to use that anger on me.

"Reneii?!" Endeavour said, voice shocked and angry, "What are you doing in U.A?"

"I'm studying here. What else do you do at school?" I replied, disgust clear in my voice, despite my nerves I was able to keep my voice stable.

By now Todoroki has stopped walking and has started listening to our conversation. I did tell him that Endeavour and I knew each other, so he's probably curious how we get on.

"Now, excuse me, I have to go so I can see my brother's match," I spat at him. That, of course, was a lie, I would know what was happening out there from far away, but I really wanted to get away from the villainous hero.

"Ah, your brother. He has some guts, with a quirk like that. How has he even gotten into the hero course with that quirk? But that's unimportant, after all, he made my Shoto use my power," Endeavour rambled on.

"Yeah, yeah. I don't need to hear it. Now do you have anything else to say or can I leave?" I threw at him with as much hatred as my little body could muster.

"Oh, just a question since I'm curious. Why have you decided to join the most well-known hero school in Japan? Why has the person who already has so much power and so much training need to go to a school such as U.A? Have you lied about being in control of your power? Or are you simply here to fool around? Maybe you want to show yourself off to the media, have you fried your brain already? Oh! Or have you joined to protect your little powerless brother? He was always such a wimp, now as well as a child," as he said that, Endeavour was laughing maniacally as if he was having fun making me angry.

"Well, it's none of your business really, but if you really wanna know I came here because I thought it would be a nice way to relax. I also wanted to support my brother in becoming a hero but I also just wanted to spend more time with him, because, unlike you, I have a normal family dynamic. And as a bonus, by coming here I can have meetings with pro-heroes that aren't as hard to arrange. So there, if you were so curious about it."

I managed to stay calm throughout my speech, which was genuinely hard. But by doing so I made Endeavour so shocked he was speechless. I would have laughed if I wasn't so angry. Todoroki was also very shocked, I knew I will have to explain everything to him soon, maybe even tonight. I will try to tell him after the festival.

I then left them in the corridor and went for the bleachers. When I got there I sat next to Uraraka and sighed.

"You good?" she asked, concerned.

"Kinda. Just tired," I sighed.

"How so?"

"I'm just tired of some people. And of life in general."

"DEEP!" I heard Kaminari shout from behind me. I snickered and turned around.

"And what would you know about deep?" I fired back.

"I'm a very complex person with very complex feelings, thank you very much," he replied in mock offend.

"Yeah, sure sure. Keep telling yourself that," joked Kirishima.

"Like you're any better. You're a literal ray of sunshine," commented Kami and we all nodded.

"'s true," I added and Kiri pouted. We all laughed but soon turned back to our own conversations.

"Spill girl," Uraraka said, but then she explained further when I turned to her with a confused frown, "You said you were tired of people. Which person in general? There has to be someone, right?"

"It's just people who tell me what I should be, or what I should do. It gets really annoying and tiring when people tell you who you should be, ya know," I sighed again.

"Ah, so haters. Dab on them haters," she said while posing weirdly.

"Dab? What's that?" I asked.

"I don't know. Kami showed it to me once, I don't know what it is but he said it was some funny trend or something," she shrugged.

"Oh. Sounds stupid."

"Yeah, it does."

We sat in silence for a few moments before bursting out laughing. We laughed for a solid five minutes before Iida said something about it.

"What are you guys laughing about?" he asked when Uraraka and I calmed down a bit. I wiped a fake tear from my cheek and replied.

"I have no idea," I replied genuinely. He just shrugged it off.

And then we heard Present Mic announcing the first match of the event. He introduced Izuku and Shinso as they were walking onto the ring. They were both determined to win. Present Mic then shouted 'START!' and the match began. Izuku charged at Shinso right away but the boy got him to talk while he was doing so. Izuku, now brainwashed, was walking in the opposite direction at a command from Shinso. Everyone was on the edge of their seats because was Shinso gonna win this easily? But then Izuku did something very unexpected. He used one for all on his fingers and hit himself with them in an attempt to wake himself from the mind control. And it worked! Everyone, especially Shinso, was shocked as Izuku made his way across the ring and pushed Shinso out of bounds. And he came out of it with only two broken fingers and a bloody nose, I would count that as a win.

After the battle, he went to Recovery Girl so she could heal him. I had a strong urge to go see him and ask him about how he snapped out of the mind control but I stopped myself as first I wanted to see the battle between Todoroki and Sero.

"You not gonna go check up on your brother?" Iida asked.

"Nah, he isn't a baby. And believe me, two broken fingers is nothing for him. He could shatter all his limbs and he will still want to fight, that's just who he is."

"I don't know if that's stupid or really brave," commented Uraraka.

"I'd say both," I said and they both nodded.

The three of us small talked until the second battle was announced. Present Mic introduced Todoroki and Sero and soon the match began. The match went by really fast, with Sero binding Todoroki in his tape and trying to get him out of bounds. But then failing when Todoroki froze his tape and by doing so also froze Sero in a huge ice mountain. It happened it and it was shocking but very awesome.

And thus the first two battles of the third event concluded. With Izuku winning the first match and Todoroki winning the second match of the first round. Which also meant they will fight each other in Round Two.
