Avatar's Tale (BNHA X AVATAR:THE LAST AIR BENDER)

Chapter 13

It was now almost time for the first battle of the Second Round. I can't say I wasn't nervous. I knew Izuku will break his bones no matter what. I also expected him to sacrifice his victory to help Todoroki. My brother is just that person who will help the people who matter to him, not caring if he sacrificed himself in any way. 

I was sitting in the chair, practically shaking from the worry and nerves. Luckily, nobody seemed to notice. The arena was being rebuilt so we had a little break before the next match. Some people moved around or went to get drinks or food. I stayed put though, because I knew if I started walking my nervous shaking will be eventually noticed. 

I tried not to worry too much because I knew that Izuku obviously won't die but I was pretty sure he will manage to break some bones, somehow. But then I started worrying again when I tried to sense where Izuku was and I found him near the presence of Endeavour. I guessed they were talking, and knowing the No.2 hero I knew he was either talking about his son, All Might or me. And to be honest, I expected him to talk about all three because we all got something to do with Izuku. I'm his sister, Endeavour knows All Might has his eyes on Izuku and my brother has managed to make Todoroki use his left side. 

I calmed down a bit when Izuku started walking away from the so-called hero. His heart was beating fast; he was terrified and nervous. I wasn't surprised by that. When he got further away I decided to stop focusing on him and instead focused on my own thoughts because I had nothing better to do anyway. 

I was pretty much spacing out but decided to come back when I heard Present Mic saying the Second Round will be beginning. I focused my attention on my surrounding and most of class 1-A was sitting in the stands somewhere close to me. Izuku and Todoroki were already in the arena while Present Mic was introducing them. I then went into worry overload when I sensed my twin brother's worried and stressed state. The poor guy was sweating and shaking. I knew Izuku all my life and it was pretty clear to me that Izuku wasn't particularly nervous about the fighting. He was more worried about trying to help Todoroki.

I let out a breath that I didn't realise I was holding in but when Mic announced the battle is starting my breath caught in my throat yet again. I focused all my available sensed on the battle because, to me, this was the most important match of this year's sports festival. I had no care for who actually won the festival at this point, I only cared about this match and its outcome. I don't exactly know why this was so important to me, maybe because this was my brother fighting a very powerful person. Maybe because I knew they both held feeling for each other. Maybe because I wanted the best for both of them and I wanted them both to win. Or maybe it was all of those. But I knew that I had to hear every word they have said. Know every step they took. Every attack they would throw at each other. Feel every emotion they felt and I could sense. At this point, I felt like this was more stressful and important to me than it was to them, but I couldn't do anything about that. 

It felt like this battle was going on for ages as they threw attack after attack, but then Izuku yelled something which would soon have a huge effect.

"IT'S YOUR POWER NOT HIS!!!!!" he yelled with so much emotion I was sure everyone could feel it. Todoroki froze for a second and his eyes widened exponentially. 

At that moment Todoroki forgot about his father and his past and used his left side. My eyes widened. I was shocked but it soon left because, in reality, I expected something like this to happen but I didn't expect Todoroki to react so violently. I was thankful though. 

What happened next came suddenly and stopped as suddenly as it started. Todoroki unleashed both his powers as Izuku started using One For All. Izuku charged at Todoroki while he used his power to try to get Izuku back. It looked like they would be badly hurt if they didn't stop, everyone was on the edge of their seats, awaiting the outcome. But then, fortunately, Cementos stopped the two by building many huge walls in between the two. It has somewhat stopped the damage, but it threw Izuku back. I knew it before everyone else did, Izuku hit the wall of the stadium, unconscious and out of bounds but Todoroki was still standing on the arena. He was almost standing, his shirt was burnt on his left side and he was breathing heavily. Everybody saw it soon after I did, when the smoke dispersed. Their eyes widened just like mine did and hundreds of mouth hung open.
