•Mikes POV•

School. Nobody likes it so why does it exist? It's basically a prison for kids. The teachers are bad enough but then there are the bullies. The worst part about school. They pick out the weak ones in the flock and try to drive them out. It's stupid. This whole thing is stupid. I bang my head against the locker (which hurt) and will jumps at my sudden action. "You okay Mike?" he asks worriedly. I lift my head up and nod then lean my back against my locker while crossing my arms.  "it's just that school sucks, well, with everything that's happened that is." He hums in agreement with me. "well we should meet up with Max and the rest, they're waiting for us outside."
"yeh..."
He closes his locker and then we go outside to meet with the party which is me, Will, El, Max, Dustin and Lucas. They're my best friends and I wouldn't have it any other way.

"took you guys long enough!" Max shouts as we approach them. She grabs Will by the arm and whispers something in his ear which makes him go all flustered. I wonder what she said? "hey Mike." El comes up to me and hugs me. I smile and give her one back. We broke up two months ago because we both felt that we didn't have that spark like we used to (and I'm starting to think I'm more into guys). "You guys wanna hear some tea that I just found out." Dustin asks. I'm actually curious so I said to 'spill the tea sis' and he did. "Apparently there are kids coming to our school for a month!"
"So..?" Lucas asks. I bet he wanted to hear something a bit more juicy than that and to be honest, same. "They're kids from Derry though!"
"What's so special about that place" El questions. "Apparently kids go missing there all the time." Everyone pauses and looks at each other. "You don't think it's.......do you?" Will said what we'd all had probably been thinking. "That's why I'm excited to see them! We need to know if it has something to do with that!" We all nod in agreement. After a minute of silence, I decide to invite everyone to a sleepover. "Hell yeh!" Max shouts happily. I turn to look at Will, "Do you think you'll be allowed to come?" I ask hopeful he'll say yes. "My mom's been letting me walk by myself to school so I think I'll be able to go." he says cheerfully. I smile. We then all start to talk about things we're going to do this weekend. This is going to be fun.
