Chapter 13 – Our Own Prom

Tyler decided that he wanted to take me out of a date. Where, I have no clue but boy am I excited. After the day I remembered Tyler I started to remember everything and everyone. Unfortunately remembering everything and everyone means I remember everything my father has done. Even when I was a child.

When he had made me hit my head against the shed cause I accidently rode into his garden. I remember the look on his face, murderous. I remember wanting my mummy, and wanting Ty to just run through those doors to stop him.

When I remembered this, I was home alone. I had called Tyler at around 2am crying and he rushed over and held me till I cried myself to sleep.

Honestly, if he weren’t here, I don’t know what I would have done.

Tyler, he is my everything. I don’t ever think I could live my life without him ever again.

We still haven’t found my dad. The police are now looking for him. We told them everything we knew, and they still couldn’t trace him. I personally think that dad may have another family somewhere and he is hiding out there.

He probably has the perfect little family, with the perfect daughter I would never be.

I shook the negative thoughts from my head as I started to get ready for tonight’s date.

Tyler had told me that he would message me last minute to tell me what to wear. I had protested saying that it wasn’t enough time! How would I know how to do my hair and make-up without my outfit!

But of course I lost. Only because he went all cute and mushy telling me that I would look beautiful no matter how I did it. Damn him.

I looked at the clock, 5:15pm. He said he will pick me up at 8, so I started to get ready.

I grabbed some lingerie and entered my bathroom. I turned the shower on, letting the water heat up as I stripped down. Once I was in the shower I lathered myself with soap, and also washed my hair.

I think I literally stayed in their for over half an hour! My fingers were like prunes and my feet were a bright red. Oops!

I wrapped a towel around my body and grabbed another towel to dry my hair.

“AMBA! AMBA!” Holly’s loud voice came from behind the door.

“Yes Holly?” I said as I started to pull my hair into a messy bun.

“Gift from Ty, Ty!” she exclaimed, giggling.

Gift?

I opened the door to see my cute little sister with the biggest grin on her face, holding a box way to large for her. I laughed, and blushed and grabbed the box.

“Thanks Cutie” I said as I placed it on the bed.

“Holly see too?” she asked, as she lightly tugged my towel.

“Sure!” I said happily, as she giggled in delight and jumped up on my bed.

The box was a large rectangle, entangled with a large purple-y pink bow.

I carefully undid the bow, and lifted the lid.

I gasped.

Inside the box was a beautiful dress. I pulled it out carefully admiring the expensive piece of clothing.

The dress was floor length and strapless. The top half was a sweetheart neckline, with rhinestones covering the whole thing, with two cutes on each side of the ribs. It then flowed into a beautiful pale pink material, that flowed right down to the floor.
